It's not a fem!harry story, for one thing.

It's pretty good otherwise.

I sort of liked Spiral Path, though I only got a few chapters in... about six months ago. >_>

Beyond that the only Fem!Harry I've read was the one with the mirror and the sex and stuff. Amerison's I think.

But mostly I agree - it's hard enough to write an alternately RAISED Harry that's at all consistent with logic or personality, let alone trying to guess how a genetically similar female will be raised. And to be honest, most of us don't particularly want a read a story where "fem!Harry" is in a heterosexual relationship, really only because as said already, we're used to the idea of Harry as a guy and we all have our own hetero-normative biases. If it just happened to be "random girl #1" going to hogwarts in a well-written story, I doubt we'd have the same aversion.

But who wants to read a story where "Danica the Random Muggleborn Goes to Hogwarts"? Not me.

 

Depends on if there's smut in it Jeram.

I wish Amersion would update Zealot. Believe it or not, but that was one of my first DLP stories ever read.

 

Fem!Harry? No thanks.

Hmm...I'd read a serious female!Harry story...but only if it had been written to an impossibly (and I emphasize 'impossibly') good degree.

And to be honest, I don't think anyone would be able to pull it off - someone on DLP may be able to do it, but even then it'd still be nearly impossible.

As for someone on ff.net trying their hand at this? Well...there are plenty of 'attempts' on there. 'Nuff said.

 

I remember reading a WiP where Harry was a boy but everyone think's/see's a girl. Thought it was one of the more unique looks at the fem!harry idea. If I remember the name I'll throw it up later.
