Bella is only hot in fanfiction. Canon Bellatrix is about 40 and looks like shit after spending 15 years in Azkaban.
As far as staying true goes the actress seems like a good pick... she looks kinda haggard in that picture.

I have mixed feelings about these castings, but I think they can all work and the lily cast I had no problems with at all. I just hope they decide that H/G isn't viable for the movies and do something else because damnit the actors have no chemistry whatsoever, there's a lot more with Dan and Emma, frankly. If they really wanted to go through with it they shouldn't have made Ginny a nobody like she was in the books.

 

I think that because Lumos is a spell that doest actually leave the wand, and could be easily confused as a flashlight, then its on of those things that is an exception to the rule. I mean, in the encounter with the Dementors in 5th year, they harped on him because of the Patronus, not the Lumos charm. Or at least, I think so. Do correct me if I'm wrong.

 

You're not wrong, he's just pointing to underage magic we've seen on screen and wondering at the inconsistancy. I like your explaination tho' because it works. However if they go with your explaination does that make Arabella Figg a hostile witness for being the witness of said magic?
