This is fairly decent, author gets Ruby's voice right. It has interesting AU elements. I do feel like it hasn't completely hit its stride but there are enough words to get you a feel of how it's going to go. Will definitely keep following it.

Features a twist ending Shyamalan would be proud of.
Starts to wear thin after that, though. Should probably have stayed as a one shot.

Definitely gets points from me, I actually laughed out loud at the reveal. For a moment I thought she might be a secret bear but the end still got me. I wonder why this isn't a more common thing. Should have been a oneshot though, yeah.

Are we talking about the end of the first story? I'm not sure I would call it a twist if it's obvious from the first foreshadow. It wasn't interesting enough for me to read any of the other parts.

Now, if it had been "Hill was a bear all along" that would have been an funny twist

    Nindo of the Force

I would say a 4/5 Naruto/SW cross but because it's really at the beginning I would give it a solid 3/5 until we find out how he deals with Akatsuki. The writing is solid, the premise is not so unique but the inclusion of
    Jiraya
makes it different. There are not much talk about Ninja training, more of an exposition of what happened in a big flashback by
Obi-wan telling Supreme Cancellor Organa how Naruto killed Palpatine.
Also the first fic I read that included
    Darth Plagueis

Until it gets flashed out more I wouldn't really recommend it, probably it will be abandoned around 40-50k words like every other fic, but I have hope for it.

And it needs a massive fucking do-over, and not by a word processor, you can see all the places where a word was substituted by a similar one that was completely wrong, not to mention all the places where words are repeating all over the place

Stuff like that all over the place, and that was just the 2nd paragraph of the 2nd chapter. Huge chore to read.

    Macross/SG1 crossover.

Because of the world war, Project Giza was abandoned before the gate could be opened. However, after the Rain of Death the project was rediscovered and reopened.

Unfortunately the story seems abandoned despite the author still being active. I suspect the story would ahve eventually become a curb-stomp but I was thoroughly enjoying it.

Nindo of The Force is an alright read, but it belongs in Guilty Pleasures and not in the Library. The language is just too basic and the horde of grammatical and syntax errors made me flinch on more than one occasion.

Tentative 3/5, with I think more potential to go down than up.

Was pretty good until it turned into those Indy!Harry fics where he comes back with muscles

To be fair, in this fic
Shaggy is a Vietnam vet, so I don't find it unreasonable that he'd retain the muscles he'd have to put on in basic.

I always liked the original one-shot, so it'll be interesting to see where Rorschach takes it.

It's not like he had a training montage and became pure sex over two months...

Still the whole "when did shaggy get scars he's so hot" is pretty reminiscent, now that I think about it it's more like a naruto fic

Only two chapters, but this is looking to be a pretty good DAO fic, that follows a Dalish Warden after the Blight.

The Two Year Emperor by EagleJarl.

An original fiction that features a programmer from our world being dragged into a DnD setting where a new ruler is summoned every two years to reign with autocratic power. It's self-indulgent but a good read if you're looking for something that doesn't take itself too seriously and need to pass the time. 3/5.

Read that one, while it was entertaining at the beginning, it became less so as it went on and I dropped it. 2-3/5 sound about right, although I am not sure the rating applies when one drops it.

If you want something in that vain, I think Milo and the Natural 20 is a superior story making fun of the DnD tropes. It is genuinely laugh out loud funny. At least for me, it was.

Not just good, that was freaking fantastic. Tons of words for only two chapters. 5/5.
