The guy truly is pathetic. He sits in the corner copying other people's work because he is apparently incapable of a single original thought. Send him the threads at his e-mail and set up a bullshit e-mail account to get his response (so he can't send a virus). Tell him all this including this post, and post his response. I would like to give the pathetic little shit a chance to defend himself. That's just the way I roll.

That said, there are few acts more deplorable and sleazy than passing other people's work off as your own. And regarding his whole arguement about fanfic being inherently plagiarism, it isn't. A.) We acknowledge all credit to JK with a disclaimer B.) The characterizations and situations while based on other people's work, are changed into something new and original and C.) It is not based on theft (unlike his work where he tries to pass other people's writing as his own.)

Give him a chance to respond.

Also, he should exist in fandom in a state of infamy (at least on this site).
Give him his own emoticon. (Perhaps a smiley with a pen in its hand peering over the shoulder of a sidewise smiley that is at a computer.) It will be used to designate something unoriginal, cliche, or at worst, plagiarism.

 

I personally think it wasn't too bad with the plaigerism situation because all though he copied the original plot ideas he changed them to make it his own. Read his fics and look at it.

I just watched Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure for the first time a few days ago. That was, to my great consternation, a hilarious movie. What happened to make Keanu Reeves loose all capability of emoting basic emotions? He looks like a fucking stature compared to how he was in that movie.
