I'll probably pick this up in few weeks. Reinhardt, Tracer, and Hanzo look like great fun.

 

Your love life must suck donkey balls. I got to level 10 and a couple of regular-but-with-different-color skins. But I honestly don't care.

The game is so fun. Played multiple times as Reinhardt, Winston, Zarya, Mercy, Lucio, Mei, Reaper and MCCree. 5 or 6 PotG, pretty high win rate and some salt. Yep, having fun.

Reinhardt skins look pretty epic aswell.

 

I like the paladin-y one without the helm.

Completely ignoring my own advice, I bought 50 crates.

I got some of the epics I most wanted, like Carbon Fibre D.Va and Genji, and Sporty Tracer and a fair few legendary skins too. Daredevil 76, Comtesse Widowmaker, Sharkbait Roadhog and the coolest one I got naturally, Jester Junkrat (SO COOL).

I was left with 1305 gold from cred drops and dupes, which I promptly used to buy Mechaqueen Pharrah, fucking obviously!

Do all legendary skins change the effects/sounds of ultimates? Do any skins change the effects on regular skills?

 

I don't think you will be able to change effects of skills, and if you can in the future it won't be enabled for competitive play that is for sure. Sounds of skills would fall under the same category.

 

Hanzo's Lone Wolf skin changes his ultimate into two wolf heads, I believe Mercy's Imp skin changes her ultimate line to be "Heroes never die... for a price".

Finding Pharrah to be my best bet atm, got wrecked as Reaper and Soldier 76.

 

Got a quad play of the game as widowmaker all headshots. Was 100% arse but it looked good and I'll claim it.

Got my first Play of the Game with Torbjorn, defending the zone with a quad kill.

Finally got around to using Widowmaker as well, and I'm completely in love <3 went 17-4 which is my best for a match yet.

 

Widowmaker is awesome. She's my go-to, and her legendary skins are sweet (also dat accent). My best so far is a 19-0 game with her, and another with a 25-2 game with a 13 kill streak. I've also played a bit of pharah, who just has a really fun moveset (try it on arcade, you can literally hover in the air the entire game raining down rockets)

 

I'm so bad at sniping, Widow will probably forever elude me because of that. If you can't headshot with her, don't waste a slot on your team by picking her imo.

Though, from the kill cams, there seems to be a pretty generous aim assist...

 

Nah just latency, trust me, I am absolute shit with her I could use some aim assist. Blizzard got their 'favor the shooter' policy.

 

I've seen a lot of kill cams that look like they're shooting through a wall. Most serious offender seems to be Reaper from my experience.
