Yesterday was pretty awful for me. Went up against multiple teams running multiple characters. Like, a 4 S76, 1 roadhog, 1 lucio team and a 5 winston 1 mercy team. Annoying stuff.

 

Played in a 6 man team yesterday, had 9 wins in a row, lost the 10th and everyone started this big bitch fest. Lost one single game out of 10 and everyone starting blaming each other, full on abuse etc. I just laughed and left, joined a couple scrub mates, lost more than we won but I still had more fun.

On a unrelated note I'm still spewing because in one game I got off a death blossom as Reaper, killed all 6 of the team but Mercy was the last to die, just as I killed her she ressed all of her team and I got ripped a new one. To make it better there was around 30 seconds to go and they went on to push the payload to victory. It was a worthy potg and I wanted to keep it but I went on to play for a couple more hours and forgot about it. :/

 

I played on a 5 Torbjorn/1 Lucio team defending Hanamura. It shouldn't have worked as well as it did, but they didn't even take Point A. Then when it was our turn to attack, we started with a 6 man Reinhardt team and took Point A that way, but we couldn't get Point B no matter what comp we rolled with (after we got the point, they swapped in 3 Reapers and were crushing us. Comps started switching up from there, but we couldn't make anything work).


Also, playing during the day is painful. Last few days I've been able to play in the early afternoon, and the games are so awful it physically hurts. Like my team is playing (poorly) team death match, and I'm dying on the point. No one else will go near it, they're too busy playing Chase the Genji near our spawn point for no goddamn reason.

Torbjorn plays of the game are usually nothing special but I enjoyed this one.

 

Now that I understand how to fully utilise Lucio, I am fully converted.

I finally bought Overwatch to cope with crippling queue times in League.

What is the best hero to carry and blame everyone else for losing?

 

If you play widow on offense you will receive zero hate.

Trust me.

 

You don't even need to aim all that well.

When you play as Mei, remember to Ice Wall as often as possible. Don't be too concerned about placement.

 

The best place to Ice Wall as Mei is in front of your team mates as they use their ultimate, nothing gives you more love from your teammates.

 

When you play Reinhardt and hear "it's high noon", immediately deactivate your shield. It's a crowd pleaser.

 

But honest answer: McCree and Widow are the two that need nerfs the most, so take from that what you will.

 

Widow doesn't bother me at all, she's powerful in the right hands but that number is extremely small despite what all the people who pick her think. If someone is that good to be gg at widow it really won't matter what class they pick they'll probably rape my arse anyway. The disparity between the amount of people who pick widow and the amount who are actually good at her is extreme.
