If you're just getting started Mercy and Pharrah are pretty easy to wrap your head around, as are Symmetra and Torbjorn. Sym and Torb work best on Payload and Defend maps.

 

Junkrat is very noob friendly. Especially on console, where shooting his ult is harder. He's excellent on maps with a lot of chokes too.

Reinhardt and Winston are non aim reliant and extremely effective tanks too.

76 is also basically CoD dude, if you're used to that.

 

D.va is love. D.va is life.
Started off with Tracer first because, well, she's on the cover and all. Didn't go too well so I tried McCree next who was ok, but died too much. I sucked with Reinhardt so I tried D.va next and damn. Got my first play of the game while I was out of the mecha shooting up people. Felt so good.

Also I now understand the hate for Bastion. Piece of shit.

 

I don't know if it's the same on PS4, but on PC the number of Bastions per round (BPR) goes down the more you play. Occasionally you'll encounter a group that trolls by raising the BPR.

Tanks can now live through the double fan combo! Unless another enemy comes knocking. Probably easier to save squishes too, with Zarya or D.va (if she's close). Don't think it's gonna stop people from walking right into McCree and getting destroyed, but it might stop him from walking right at you.

Widow and McCree rebalance is great, but I still think Widow ult needs revision. At the very least it should end if Widow dies. You can stop every other hero's ult by killing them, save Mercy and D.va.

Speaking of D.va, she needs some fundamental changes too. She arguably has the most life behind her character, and yet she is trash as a hero at the moment. Maybe a movement speed buff when she shoots, and a smaller headshot hit box would help.

Also, I've been a viewer in Seagull's stream since January now. It's incredible to see how his channel has taken off, especially with release.

 

Seagull has taken off because he's a freaking god at the game, and from what i've seen personality-wise acts in a way that deserves all the followers.

 

He's good, but his voice / music just annoy the shit out of me.

I mean, it says a lot that I like Seagull given his horrific Tracism.
