tbh im more salty about a team that can't handle a bastion or two. it's not that hard- grab a genji, deflect, dash in and finish what's left.

 

The Bastions aren't that dumb though, not anymore xD

 

If you're rolling Bastion in ranked you've either got a team set up around you to take care of that sort of thing or you're really damn good.

 

Or you're the Bastion on MY team, in which case you die every time to everything.

 

ranked on ps4 just came out, so the bastions haven't evolved quite to that standard yet. a semi decent genji or junkrat are usually good enough to take care of them.

Doesn't seem fixed to me. When I win, I get a bit of XP, when I lose I drop a rank. Is that normal in competitive games? Find it incredibly frustrating and unfair.

It's very strange how many people have no idea how to deal with Bastion.

All it takes is 2 Pharah rockets, a Widowmaker, a sufficient sneaky Reaper, Tracer, 76 who can actually aim Helix Rockets, another Bastion (lol), Hanzo, Genji with reflectdash, Reinhardt who isn't godawful at Fire Strike... there's more counters for Bastion than not-counters for Bastion.

 

And a bastion protected by Reinhardt? Lol.

More and more I'm convinced that's a legit strat for defending coin flips. With Mercy, Lucio, Zarya and a flex dps, sounds pretty sustainable for 1.45 mins...

Fucking Bronze all over again, except Overwatch is way more team orientated than league. One muppet on your team and it's like having a feeder in a MOBA...

 

Im done with ranked for now. Its clearly a broken system, and I can't remember the last time I raged so hard over a loss as I have in ranked overwatch.

I'm just havin fun in quick play, where its still actually fun.

 

I've just been hovering between 55 and 58 atm. Every time I win, I gain less and less progress towards a rank up, which is quite annoying.

That being said, however, I find ranked much more fun than quick-play - the quality of players is higher and less varied, and people communicate much more, so teamplay is a much bigger factor.

Hopefully I'll be able to breach 60 soonish.
