I didn't watch the game in question, but one thing you need to account for is performance anxiety. That set is slick as fuck and there are a whooooole lot of people watching - the pressure must be intense. It's totally understandable that they look not up to par. These kids earned their placed and were recruited, they aren't there by accident.

Or maybe they just got lucky and are average. Idfk.

WTB Australian friends to Q with for late night games. No voice, or if you want to Q regularly I'll voice. Overwatch has died that innsywinny bit that Q times in Australian have become a bitch.

Anyone else play 8 free for all? I spend a fair bit of time in it now these days. and I got to say one character that is extremely OP but no one picks is Orisa. She has extremely high damage out put if you don't have shit aim, good health, a shield, and a ability that makes you immune to CC. Very powerful.

So, the last time I played OW I was getting the feeling that it wasn't running quite as briskly as it should, but it wasn't enough to impact my negative levels of skill, so I shrugged it off.

When I exited the game, I realized what was going on. Hours earlier I had been playing Fallout 4, dropped back to the desktop to do something else, and then started playing Overwatch without ever quitting Fallout 4.

I don't think I've pulled that trick since way back in the day, accidentally starting UT2004 twice without realizing it.

Well, the new support hero has been revealed as Torb's daughter, Brigitte.
She's sort of a healer/tank hybrid that encourages you to behave aggressively, from the looks of things.

Aggressive melee support seems to be just my cup of tea. Waiting impatiently for this. First new hero I'm actually really excited for.

Same here. It might actually get me back into the game; I've always loved the tanky supports, and her kit looks right up my alley. Really looking forward to her coming out.

Moira is good, but I like the tanky archetype more personally. Moira is still in my competitive rotation though.

Just so you know, if you're ever playing on my team and this happens, you should feel bad.

The names have been hidden to protect the inept. Medium bots, man, Medium Bots. I was the only one on the objective, so I assumed the rest of the team was at the spawn, PWNing the poor bots, except that said bots all kept getting through to assault the objective.

That I got PoTG was not a surprise; that I was the only human on the screen above was.
And this was after I died four times, due to my own lack of skill and the fact I was apparently all but fighting the other team single-handedly.

Yes I voted for myself. No I'm not ashamed. A: I was the only human to vote for, and B: I deserved it.

Someone must have drugged the water supply.
Didn't we used to have a facepalm smiley?

Meh, bots is bots, but it's muuuch easier on my internet connection to play against the bots and maintain a connection to only the 5 other people on my team, than to play against humans and do the same with 11 people.

I can't talk, when I use to play LoL I played like 10 normal games and the rest were against bots.

Overwatch does take a surprising amount of bandwith, on my connection I cannot stream movies/twitch while playing overwatch, constant stuttering. Any other games I have no issues at all.

In saying that I wouldn't think it would matter if its 6 people or 12 people internet wise for overwatch since its serverside? I dont know never tried bots.

    Streaming while playing?

*looks at his own 786kbps down/381kbps up internet connection*

Well, I'd break into a rendition of "Part of Your World" right now, but I can't sing, so it looks like I need to start scouting likely clock towers again... *

I can't confess to know how it works; I've tried looking it up and all I found was talk about how the server does hit prediction and such, so all I really know is I often get hit with stuttering and lag while playing with lots of people, but rarely against bots, and almost never in 1v1 or 3v3 elimination.

*This is the part where I reassure the authorities that I have no intentions of doing any such thing, because they aren't known for their sense of humor.
