Ah Geez. Still, at least I can safely say that only the first angels one was scary for me.

 

If you can stand through until towards the end, Perfect Lionhearts' 'Partially Kissed Hero' (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4240771/1/Partially_Kissed_Hero) sort of covers this with dryads.

However, there are major points of suck (as well as clever) beforehand. I wasn't bored reading it, but neither was I hugely excited.


But yeah, as time travel isn't something the majority of the population has experience with (like magic), we can make up our own rules. Riley Poole is right - Because Dinosaurs.

Oh I know, it really is a difficult thing to read. If you look for the thread on it (trash binned I think), you'll see the hate this fic spawns. But the concept of the time travel is reasonably clever, albeit sociopathically done.

 

Sociopathically done. I like that. I wouldn't say that it is a difficult thing to read though, in the sense that it is confusing and dense, more the fact that it is boring as hell, and just a rather appalling fic.

 

"Too much condescending for one fic to handle" is the most apt description for it I've ever found.
