OOC: Did my examination (with detect magic) glean anything of significance from the Holy Symbol?

Not to mention all the knowledge he could give me of the dark gods. I grab the clothes likeliest to fit, and put them on as best as I can.

 

The Holy Symbol doesn't appear magical in any way. It's just an exquisitely crafted, solid silver, holy symbol of the prince of hell.

As much as I'd love to just escape out the window and down the rope, I have a distinct feeling we will need this map. What say you? We take the easy way out the window? "Really? Mine said nothing of a map; it merely listed the location. Nevertheless, I'd prefer to go through the prison, whether by trickery or violence. I don't know the nature of these manacles, but I have no intention of having them become a permanent fixture on my person."

 

Zadok turns to Ruby, his face pensive.

"You said before you have a plan. Now's the time to share it"

 

Ruby finishes reading her letter and tucks her new hair behind her ear, much like the girl outside.

"Alright, here's the plan. I'm going to draw the attention of the guard, try and convince them to open the door. I need you all ready to pounce on them when they do. I need someone to create an illusion of these shackles being gone for a while. I'm hoping to find a key that can remove them for us. Then, I plan on walking oout the front door with this guise and her authentications. Still, I'll need to keep the bitch alive for a little bit to... answer some of our questions. I'll need her name, mostly, and her ranking in the prison. If you guys could illusion yourselves to be invisible and inaudible by some forms of magical or mundane stealth, I can get those doors open for us. If not, we'll find you guys another way out and I'll remove your shackles before I make my way to the front door. I want your shackles to remain on because we don't want to hold a grand scale illusion for too long, and I'm confident I can lie to any guard who sees us that I'm transfering you lot. Finally, I don't want any looting in this place. Just get out. We'll find riches all our own outside this hellish place, and all the riches in the world won't save you if you've got no head."

Ruby looks at the variety of 7 men before her.

Before Ruby breaks through Marcinus' illlusion and goes to the door, she will cast the Slumber Hex on the head female guard she is duplicating. She will do this only once everyone is ready.

 

Looks around at the others before looking at Ruby and then in a quiet voice so that only the 8 of us may hear.
"No questions from me. Anyone else?"

 

"I do not know any visual illusion as of yet, it must be someone else."

"Cards on the table: I can start a fire given flammable objects, drench things in water, send messages, disguise myself with magic, taking any broad appearance, even that of a generic guard, and cause any fall to be slowed so that the target can land safely. Besides an odd bit of combat magic, that's it. And some forgery... if you can get me paper, I can forge us papers, requesting that we be moved, and be a second guard in the escort. Otherwise, I'm limited to an extra fighter and the one to incite the ogre.

Perhaps we should merely fight through these guards, taking caution to take preserve the ranking officer, and then move from there? Worse comes to worst, we'll have an ogre'"

 

Zadok moves to be by the door, positioning himself so that he can reach out and grab someone.

Again, readying an action to grab the first guard who comes in to investigate, ideally putting him in a choke hold and muffling him.
