Going through 3 readied actions. Going to be a moment.

Zadok goes to choke the staggered guard!
    CMB = +7 (+5, +2 for favored enemy)
    Guards CMD is 17
    Roll is 12!
    19 vs 15
Zadok grabs the guard by the neck with a chain, and begins strangling him!

Marcinus casts color spray (DC 16)!
Guard #1 will save is 3+0! Guard 1 is unconcious, blinded, and stunned for 6 rounds, blinded and stunned for 4 rounds, and stunned for 1!
Guard #2 will save is NATURAL 1! The guard stumbles from the bright light and falls, smashing his head against the ground hard! Guard #2 is stunned just plain out!

Hadzan concentrates, and sends out a mental message.

Moments after the door opens, one guard is in a chokehold, and two more are on the floor with one not getting up. Four guards remain in this hall on their feet. The two you can see are fumbling with their swords when a loud, primal bellow splits the air.

Off to one side, in another heavy, barred cell, a large form slams itself against a barred wooden door with a scream.

"GRUMBLEJACK NOT PATHETIC! GRUMBLEJACK SQUASH ALL THEIR SKULLS AND USE THEIR ENTRAILS AS DECORATION!"

The other two guards spin to look at the door in dawning horror as it begins to splinter.

I think this is a good time to roll for initiative.

---------- Post automerged at 11:34 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:13 PM ----------

    Initiative Order

    Grumblejack: 20
    Marcinius: 18
    Dominic: 17
    Hadzan: 17
    Lexgud: 11
    Prison Guard 2: 11
    Kevdak: 10
    Prison Guard 5: 10
    Prison Guard 6: 6
    Roland: 5
    Zadok: 5
    Elite Guard: 4
    Prison Guard 4: 4
    Ruby: 3
    Prison Guard 1: 2

Here's how this is going to work. Everyone can declare an action, even if it's not their initiative turn. But the action won't resolve until it is your imitative turn.

If we get to your turn, and you haven't declared an action, we'll wait for a reasonable amount of time (thinking 12 hours). If you haven't done anything, you get skipped.

If something happens to change your action before it goes off (like your target dies), I'm not going to punish you. You'll either have to put in a new action, or, if you don't do that in time, I'll twist your original action into something similar. That way, no one gets punished.

You can also declare multiple actions, but it's not recommended. With the amount of players we have, your action is almost certain to change before it gets to your turn again. Still, you can do it, and declare something vague (Healing the weakest person, for example).

So, Grumblejack is first. I'll give everyone a moment to declare actions, and then send him on his way.

After seeing his targets go down Marcinus springs into the hallway and lines up another shot trying to get the remaining guards.

"Kill the ones that are already down. They have swords on them. Take them and hand them out. Go go go."

Move into hallway and Colorspray as many (conscious) guards as I can. Without hitting party members. I'd like to avoid hitting Grumblejack too if possible.

I go to the door of the cell, and cast Command on the nearest guard that doesn't fall prey to Marcinus' color spray.

"Approach, and let your pain serve Zon Kuthon."

Grumblejack throws his entire body against his cell door!
    STR Check vs Hardness 20
    18+5(STR Bonus) = 23 vs 20

Grumblejack roars again, and smashes the door down. Now an angry, and still a bit drugged, Ogre stands in an open door, two guards facing him, swords drawn.

Marcinus moves into the hall, and casts Color Spray at the two guards facing Grumblejack!

Guard #5 Will Save vs DC 16: 15!
    He's down!

    Guard #6 vs DC 16: 2!
    Also down!

Sorry guys, I'm completely wiped. Shocked I'm still up. Will resume this in the morning.

Roland rolls his shoulders and grins, his teeth showing.
    "Right, my time to shine."

Move into position and cast sleep at the two prison guards still standing

Sweet, let's do this! Question, can I cancel disguise self before it expires?

    Common, Quietly
"Somebody yell to Grumblejack, make sure he knows we're friendly; I can't talk to him any further without revealing myself. He speaks common, clearly."

(If I can do so without disrupting the slumber hex) I make my way through the chaos to the head guard and drag her from the action to the guard's station, then carefully search her for the key to our manacles (Perception 17, http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/4432809/)

On my turn, I move to pin the guard against the ground. This will require another CMB check, but since he's already grappled, his CMD suffers a -4, iirc.

"Soon as he's on the ground, slit his throat!"

So uh, what guards are still up and not occupied? If there are any I guess I attack one Shocking Grasp touch attack followed up by a dagger attack. If not, I try to help bring Zadok's one down with him (if I can do that?).

In that case I would just go around getting the loot and slitting the throats of the downed guards. Never hurts to be certain.

    Dominic's Turn

    Dominic casts Command!
    Will Save is 13 + 0!
    Will Save failed!

The guard stumbles forward a few steps, face blank!

Hadzan scrambles forward amidst all the chaos and starts rummaging through the sleeping guard's belongings. He finds a ring of keys!

    Next action: Luxgud!

    "Let's get out of here!"

If Grumblejack attacks us then I'm going to color spray him.

I start trying the keys in my manacles and take them off when I find the proper key, then tuck the keys away. If possible, I also move away from combat to any sort of station that the guards might have (anywhere I might find paper or a pen).

Quietly (so only the party can hear), Common
"Quickly, speak to Grumblejack! He must decide we are friends, or we will have an ogre to contend with!"

Sorry, I don't have a great feel for movement yet. If I do more than what is allowed, just let me know.

Lexgud moved into the hall, clearing the doorway with haste and reached down to the fallen guard and grabbed his sword. Turning to face Grumblejack Lexgud grinned viciously.

"The ground shall run red with blood! Death to the humans!" Lexgud roared, watching Grumblejack with rapt attention, preparing for an attack in case the Ogre decided that everyone was a foe.

OOC: I think that's a double move action for me. If I can pick up the sword from where I am standing in the cell, or do that turn in such a way that lets me make a skill check against Grumblejack and pick up a weapon, let me know.

All the guards are incapacitated. I'm going to assume you systematically slaughter all of them but the elite guard for Ruby's purposes.

    You've escaped the cell!
Take 150 XP! You are now at 250 XP!

You have defeated 5 Prison Guards and an Elite Guard. Take another 135!
    You are at 385 XP!

"Give me a second boys, I have to get changed~"

Ruby will strip the elite guard of her clothes and get changed.

Going through the guard I took down, what do I find? I plan on taking his weapons and armor.

Ruby will also look for the keys to the shackles on her wrists in the elite guard's clothing.
