That basically. I can't speak for anyone else but a lot of the time stuff is happening but there's really no reason to respond. Okay ruby is getting let in, cool. I'll just...do nothing until that situation is resolved. I'm not going to post doing nothing, everything I wanted to do is not an option or is obviously a bad option, so for my character I just have to wait for stuff to happen.

 

I'm good with one or two as well, but I would agree with the rest about the issue, too; the plan was contingent on Lexi, and she's been kinda absent. So it's tough to make it work. Maybe impose some sort of posting minimum (especially when you're an important part of a certain mission)?

Either way, I think if we get through this section, it'll be fine. Maybe we could set it up so if something happens in RL and a player knows that they won't be able to participate for a bit, then they could sit things out for a while (for a in-game reason). Alternatively, I wouldn't mind making a chat game out of it. I'd hate to see the whole thing just collapse, though.

 

I'm down with 1 or 2. Not much to say, on this or in game at the moment.

 

1 or 2. I agree with Wildfeather in terms of the whole, stuff's happening, but I can't see anyway I can be useful or do anything considering that in game there aren't the huge gaps that there are between posts.

 

I like 1. Playing on IRC with a solid time slot would be nice. 2 is the onky other option though, do not want 3.

And I've been absent in some form due to exams, so after the 20th I'm back super full time.

I didn't mean to take a shot at you, Lexi; I totally understand. If we had been playing steadily, I would have been severely limited for the last week with tests. They're essentially over after today, though, so I commit serious time towards this again, whether that is scheduled time over IRC or just continuing the forum game.

 

I'd be in favor of transitioning to an IRC format, personally.

 

Alright. For now, let's keep going as we are. Getting all 9 of us onto IRC at the same time would be a logistical nightmare which would probably involve dropping some players. To avoid that, we'll keep PbPing.

You all follow the guard into the gatehouse, those of you disguised as guards surrounding those still dressed as prisoners.

The gatehouse is a large structure, easily the size of the entrance hall you left before. In the wall directly before you is a door that matches the one behind you, presumably the way out. On either side of the room are sweeping stair leading up to the next level.

Several guards are coming down those stairs, seven in number. Three of them are dressed in standard guard apparel, while two are dressed in outfits matching Ruby's.

At their head is the heavyset, glaring face of Sgt. Tomas Blackerly. You all feel a flash of hate at the sight of the branding-happy Sergeant. Behind him is a small man in lighter armor, slouching as he walks.

They all reach the floor, and Blackerly gestures at your group. At his gesture, the three lesser guards split off and move to surround the prisoners.

Make a Perception Check. If you get above 20:

As they move into position, Blackerly looks at Ruby. He squints a little as he says, "Kylpha. Status report."
