I find myself vaguely liking this one. Maybe use that idea, and renfine it even more.

Think of color choice, placement, and the amount of reflection/type of text that you use.

^What he said. Maybe have the reflection a little smaller?

Hmm... I still have a vague like for it. The color doesn't seem to be that grimy, seeing how the theme will be darker. The placement of the words also seems to detract rather than add to it. Maybe its too simplistic, an additional design pattern added to it, maybe, or something of that sort. The reflection is a good idea though, I do like that.

It goes back to how NMB had his going. It was simplistic, and it had just a bit more uhmpf behind it, because of the stag and the tendril like quality that the magic had.

    Edit:
@Fash: Yeah, that's what I was beginning to think. I started thinking about word art. Although, I do like the reflection.

Mmmm, I dont know it seems to simple for me. You don't want a really complex, hundreds of things happening in it banner but you also dont want one that looks like someone used Microsoft Words Wordart feature to make it.

Try going for an apple style reflection. With a black or perhaps dlp green background with the font reflecting in that. Thats the only way to improve on the word art pic imo...

Though I like the creativity for the pc one. The one that looks like a highlighted grid. Not so much for the font beside it. Looks halloweeny.

I suggest you try and stay away from the white backgrounds as that isn't a dlp color in general, and it draws too much attention from the page if its to be placed with a dlp theme.

@Raven; is there a timelimit on this design thing, or you just goign to wait till you find one that jumps out at you?

Might be how your browser reads the file type, Quazi, I don't see any white backgrounds.

The new font really adds to it, along with the shadow and reflection. This is probably the best version of it so far.
