Just watched new episode. Finch and his controller.... epic

 

I'm loving this show. While it started off boring, by third season there's character development, action, intrigue, hot chicks, guns, a machine in God mode, a Hand of God carrying out instructions and so much more. Best of all, the least romance I've seen in any show. Ever. You get to concentrate on the plot rather than the feelings everyone has for their love. They even took a leaf out of Game of Thrones and killed off a main character. Looking forward to the third season finale.

 

Seriously... these last couple of episodes have been amazingly good, especially with Root taking on a nominally heroic role. The lack of romance and recent character death have really let the viewers focus on the action; I fucking lol'd when Shaw shot Fusco down. In any other show, you just know that'd have been three episodes worth of romantic drama and tension.

 

Yeah. they leave the romance ambiguous and don't focus on it much, which is good because a show that depends on romance is just using it as filler half the time. This has character focus for each episode or team based stories.

 

POI welcomes all to trial of century. This show knows how to up the ante for end of season.Also car seating arrangement discussion was epic.

 

I love Root more and more every episode. <3

 

This is how a season should end. It blew my mind. No idea where are characters going from here.

 

Samaritan's interface is so much cooler than the Machine's! Epic finale.

 

This series really only gets better with every episode. R00T really matured this last season and even the man behind Decima shows some very interesting traits (and finally a villain who doesn´t control his minions through but instead plain money^^). Can´t wait to see what happens next and if Samaritan decides to go Skynet or not.

 

Holy crap. That finale... Season 4 is going to be a complete shift in tone. Kudos to the writers for having the courage to shake things up this much.

Looking forward to how they deal with the clash of the AI's. Hoping the Machine eats Samaritan alive.

Wasn't too happy with the kid. They could have gone with someone older.

 

Don't know how they will beat Samaritan - he looks like an unbeatable opponent; and that's why this is my favorite show - you never know what would happen next...

 

I guess that Samaritian may be defeated with the help of whatever Finch did to that women's laptop in Japan. This episode was awesome though the 10 year old hacking genius was a bit too much.
The preview looks brutal though I don't think they will actually kill of the entire cast. >_>

I've been loving the entire season especially the plot with Elias and Dominic. Greer really needs to die though and with his flashbacks being shown this episode, it may actually occur soon.

 

The same virus finch used to set the machine free must be in the laptop, though that's rather simple for this show.

Ok, so I started watching this when it first came out, but got bored after about 3-4 episodes.

However, it sounds like the show is actually really good now. When abouts does it start getting good? Ie, how much shit do I have to wade through?

 

The series had a jump in quality towards the end of the first season when it started focusing on the first big bad, can't remember exactly when but should be around ep 15 and from there it only gets better.

 

Yeah, I think I got halfway through the first season, and it felt way too procedural.

I might have to pick it up again.
