Another good Soul Bond Fic is The Amplitude, Frequency, and Resistance of the Soul Bond.

The entire Fic does everything it can to Deconstruct every aspect of the Soul Bond. Harry and Ginny don't immediately love each other, and spend a lot of time hating each other. They don't get Super-Magic, and their schoolwork actually suffers from sharing minds with someone else. It is perfectly willing to mess with Canonical events. There is absolutely no rule regarding when they can or cannot have sex (dealt with in a funny, effective way). It actually explores what it's like for a teenage boy and a teenage girl to share minds (Harry thinking about bewbs, Ginny having her period). And it not only doesn't Bash Dumbledore, it made him a surprisingly hilarious character (not to mention coming up with a surprisingly original explanation what the hell his various instruments do).

Which is according to the horseshit, since e.g. Harry Potter repaired his first wand with it, a feat though tot be impossible with a normal wand.

 

Liberal use of veritaserum. I mean, there is a reason giving to someone something that makes them tell the truth to whatever they ask you is illegal or heavily controlled. I assume that at some point authorities abused this and now not only do you need exceptional circumstances for it to be used but what can be asked is very regulated. Yet in some fics it is used to convince people in normal dealings.

What's it about?

Mocking is possible, but staying alive and untortured afterwards is rather unlikely. A funny nickname'd be "Vold de merde" (flight of shit).

Why not, after all, Voldemort did dig up a method of haxxor-ing his soul to stay on This Side, right, why not finding something to effect the opposite.

Why should wizards free of what plagues any kind of society, no matter how advanced (and the wizards are kinda backwards in a few things)?!

You must hate canon.
Always lusting after battle, yes. Bad at delicate magic? Fuck no.
The elder wand is said to be capable of performing feats of magic no modern wand can. We don't see many of these in canon, but we know it can repair other wands. I see no reason why it can't do subtle to.
Of course the wand isn't the best at everything, and it certainly has its flaws. But it is, in general, a superior wand to even the ones Olivander makes, and Dumbledore gladly trades his old wand away. Harry, on the other hand, preferred his own wand, though must at least admit repairing it would have been impossible without the elder.
One day wandlore will advance to the point that the elder wand is merely a flawed relic of the past. But they have not reached that point yet, and though they are advancing, are far from it.

 

That fucking annoying cop-out ending where someone who loves Harry kisses his scar and it kills Voldemort.
Without fail it pisses me off.
