Mister. You can try sliding this past your wife, and then once she's agreed, you get to gloat that you slipped a Dresden name past her.

Use Mouse as your decoy, and when she's inevitably shot that down, you can catch her unawares.

To keep with the Dresden theme you could call him Toot-toot. If the wife asks just say he's gassy.

Personally I'd call him butters. Either after the mortician or the south park character. More the latter for me.

    He's awesome...

Name him after me. 'cause y'know, I'm just that awesome....

    [/humor attempt]

    Hmm, how about Rocky?
It'd be more ironic if your dog was a boxer, but whatever. It's still a good name.

Well, I wanted to adopt a welsh corgi puppy that snarled like a chainsaw whenever you picked him up(someone else got him first), so I'm kind of still hung up on naming a dog Chainsaw, even if that doesn't fit yours.

That dog is god damn adorable!
    My suggestions:
    1) Michael (from Dresden, he's one awesome character)
    2) Tyke
    3) Blooper (don't ask, but it kinda fits)
    4) What the hell, you need another option or what?

After a couple of years, I just stopped calling my dog by his name and just call him "dog"...

So "Dog" isn't such a bad name, IMO.

Edit: If not "Dog", there's always "Albus Severus".
