After Harry is killed by Voldemort in the Forbidden Forest in DH, he ends up being sent back in time to his first day at Hogwarts.

The original part: he ends up in Ron's body during the train ride to Hogwarts, while Voldemort's Horcrux from Future!Harry's scar ends up in Scabbers/Pettigrew (Harry doesn't know this).

 

And nonfuture Harry is as normal?

Plotbunny: Albus ends up in Skyrim (As Dragonborn naturally). Would most likely be a oneshot of Albus abusing the fuck out of everyone.

 

Albus, as in Albus Dumbledore? I can see him chiding people who worship Daedric beings, possibly while sipping tea at a table he conjured in the middle of a firestorm, but abuse, not so much.

 

Alternative: Albus Dumbledore vs assorted Daedric mindfucks. Sheogorath taunts Molag Bal into a bet (akin to the bet made with Hircine concerning the bird and the beast on top of the mountain) concerning their methods of taking mortal souls. Whichever one breaks Albus Dumbledore within twenty-four hours gets to keep him.

I was starting to read a psychic Harry Potter where being able to use all of your brain means you have psychic powers because of course humans only use 10% of their brain (which is so much bullshit) when I tried thinking of how how to actually have psychic powers in Harry Potter.

So my idea was:
Theres a cutoff point for Muggle/Wizard qualifications- some Wizards have so little ability to control magic that they don't get accidental magic. And it's the accidental magic that is the stimulus that allows the Wizard to get enough skill to be able to use a wand, and it's the accidental magic that adds kids to the schooling lists.

Since the industrial revolution more and more shit has been dumped in the ground/rivers/etc, and more and more weird stuff has been added to the water supply. It's not just Muggles, Wizards have also been too lazy to vanish items and just left them behind. Some of this collects in the human body, and some of it collects in the brain, acting as a magical focus. For the Wizards who normally aren't skilled enough to grasp magic this gives them enough control to have mild 'psychic' abilities, but since it is wanded magic it doesn't show up on the accidental magic detectors.

So, the people with the brain wands who have accidental magic are classified as Wizards and trained with magic, not training their 'psychic' skills and normally losing them, whereas those without accidental magic can learn to use their 'psychic' abilities.

Of course, being a Harry Potter fanfiction during the Department of Mysteries when Voldemort possesses Harry it 'flicks a switch' in Harry's head, allowing him to use his brain-wand, and as such when he gets sent back to the Dursleys he trains 28 hours a day inbetween chores to become more powerful than Merlin, goes to Gringotts and meets Griphook and finds out he's a multi-hellainionaire, finds out he's actually Lord Potter, and also finds out that having a brain-wand makes males physically capable of bearing children.

No, wait, fuck that last paragraph. Fuck it to death and piss on it's grave.

 

So Psychic as in Telekinesis? As in just an apptitude for Wingardium leviosa?

 

It could just be a special type of wizard like Metamorphmagus i.e. the psychomagus.

 

It would be a discipline like if you trained in Pyrokinesis you can control fire without wand but otherwise you can do jack shit for other spells.

A disciplins takes about 3 to 5 years to master so someone like Dumbledore doesn't need a wand to read minds or move things around since he trained in thoese 2 disciplines.

Alright, so here's something that I believe was never done before: The Veil in the Department of Mysteries is actually a portal to The End dimension from Minecraft. The reason nobody returned after walking through it is because nobody managed to defeat the Ender Dragon. That changes when Sirius arrives though. After he kills the beast, he manages to return to Earth. However, the portal in The End created by him remains open and Endermen start teleporting to our dimension as well. Meanwhile Voldemort's return has been confirmed and the war officially starts, however the Dark Lord notices the Endermen and is intrigued by them.

Of course, fleshing this out and adding more interesting details needs to be done, but this is the core idea.

 

I would read that, though I'd suggest not writing it as a serious fic.

 

Well Endermen are hurt by water. They are not going to have a nice time in the dimension where water falls from the fucking sky. :awesome

Yeah, but could you imagine Voldemort not knowing about their weakness, assembly an entire army to storm England. Then it fucking rains and he loses. Most anticlimactic final confrontation ever.
