Dark Lady Lavender would make a good crack!fic.

 

Crack!Fic idea.
The Perevell brothers were the British Isles' mightiest wizards at the time. They were also expert hunters for magical/Dark creatures. They were commissioned to find and fight the last of a powerful Dark creature that plagued the North. After a violent confrontation (insert 1k words of combat) they finally defeated the beast by the river. The eldest brother took the heartstring and made it into core of the Elder Wand; the second brother cremated the beast's bones and found himself a crystalized object, aka the Resurrection Stone; the third brother harvested the hair and made himself the Cloak of Invisibility. Thus the Deathly Hallows were born.
The kicker: that creature was the last Crumple-Horned Snorkack of the British Isles.
The second kicker: Guess why the Lovegoods look for the CHS all over the world?
FanFic bonus: Use the Blot's "Snakebite Potter" as framing device (see Odd Ideas)

 

Eh? Perhaps I'm slow tonight, but I fail to see the humor. Random conjunctions of plot elements aren't really plot bunnies. (Putting the word 'Crack' next to a fail!idea doesn't fix the fail unless there's some obvious lulz).

 

I guess it could work as a part of a sub-plot, maybe? But, on its own? Meh. Too weak an idea.

 

The world needs more Luna fics.

A Wrong Boy Who Lived cliche, in which Dumbledore named the wrong twin as the Boy Who Lived on purpose. After all, the Boy Who Lived has to be protected.

 

I think we should have a thread for all these Dark Witches and Wizards, for crack ideas or otherwise. Glorious potential is glorious.

 

This came from reading the DarkLady idea and reading a Luna-based fic.

I may be biased.. but it's incredibly hard to imagine Luna as a Dark Lady; Unless it's a crack!fic where she gets revenge on the entire wizarding-world, for the extinction of the snorcack or the voices-in-her-head manifest as nargles and wrakspurts, telling her what to do, who to kill, how best to hide the bodies etc.
Do you suppose she snaps, like in bad dark!harry fics, and suddenly embraces the dark side wholeheartedly - perhaps she becomes a shadow-mage-elemental-heir-to-the-founders?
Will she start on her dark path by taking revenge on all those big meanies in Ravenclaw?

Just a quickie for a SP/HP crossover.

What if Harry is one of the people with abilities? What if Harry is in that abandoned town at the end of season 2 with Sam?

Harry would be 26 at that time so unfortunately I might have to move one of the timelines either back or forward. But that's alright because it wouldn't really make much of a difference to either.

So Harry is stuck in the town and he doesn't have a wand. He's been pulled from the UK, nobody knows where he's gone (a couple of scenes of Ron or Hermione angsting over Harry might be in order) and Azazel isn't letting him leave the US. The only advantages he has are his mind, his body and his ability. I think the best ability for Harry to have would be the ability to hear peoples thoughts. By the way, Harry isn't an Animagus and he can't do more wandless magic than your average Hogwarts graduate would be able to so they're not options.

There is no organised wizarding subculture in the US, apart from a couple of Muggleborns who go through life thinking they are freaks. There used to be a fairly big one as a part of American Indian culture but that's all been lost. Harry might meet a few wizarding travellers but they won't be people who would recognise him.

I think a good idea would be to have Harry save Sam from Jayden and that would start off the story and give Dean, Sam and Bobby a reason to trust him.

Harry will keep the wizarding world a secret from Sam and Dean.

I've been wanting to do a HP/SP crossover for a while that is good and not slash, as there is a definite shortage.

BTW, I've only just started watching the series and have just finished season 2, so if there is something later on that invalidates this then just say that there is something and I'll find out what it is later on. But don't give me any spoilers, alright?

 

I would go on the line of psychopath!Luna who kills random people for random reasons, but then Harry befriends so she is confused, but then Harry has enough of the Wizarding world so he goes to Luna(his only friend, who is honest with him) and asks her for advice. So they go on a rampage killing random people. And the Wizarding Britain is pretty confused including Voldemort, so everyone stops what they are doing and all they do is to try to find out who are killing aimlessly people.
