It patched your rom. "Unchanged" as a setting means that it doesn't change the previous randomization.

 

Not to rain on your parade or anything but Kingdra isn't part of the original 150, it was only introduced in Gen II, national dex #230 <.<

Gave it a shot. Rolled a Pidgeot starter. First encounter is a Weezing on Route 103.

Self Destruct.

Second try. Kakuna, Magikarp and Metapod as my starter choices. Almost entirely impossible, but I picked Magikarp anyway with the hope of running out of PP for Splash, buying a stack of Potions and beating May with Struggle. It didn't work out.

 

I had an amazing start to a nuzlocke. Seriously, this is the most fun I've ever had nuzlocking. The shit I've seen, man, the shit I've seen.

I have four Pokemon heading into Petalburg Woods. Three of them are Electabuzz, Lanturn and a fucking Zapdos that I somehow managed to catch with four regular Pokeballs. No Fisherman is safe from the vengeance of King Sera.

 

This is such awesome fuckery. First pokemon I catch is Poliwhirl. First pokemon I see on the next route? Politoed.

I thought that was lulzy enough and then I proceed to find both Rayquaza and Celebi in the same fuckin' route.

 

Necro is necro.

But I just found this and it's a lot of fun.

Or rather, I thought it would be when I got a Latios in my first draw.

Turns out that the first trainer you fight other than May has a fucking dark type.

And I have to get to level 20 to learn dragon breath. I hate everything.

Used all my money and pokeballs trying to catch a level 2 Metang.

I got horrendously bored of my Heartgold Nuzlocke so I'm going to give a try at this if I can figure out how to install the randomizer.

 

There is an universal randomizer that can randomize any given ROm up to B&W2 I think. Also it has more option then the emerald randomizer.

Oh god, why is everything a Staryu?

This is ridiculous. My three starters were staryu, caterpie, and psyduck. Every second wild encounter is a staryu. What's going on?

 

There are two versions of the randomiser in-game: one option makes every encounter random, and the other one changes the type of pokemon you find in an area to be random. So, say, rattata = staryu. Hence you run into a lot of them.

If that's not the case, though, then you're just super unlucky. It could happen.

 

Just unlucky I guess, because I've had others - Aggron, Machamp, Latios, and Mewtwo as one encounters, then Skarmory, Staryu, and Delibird on repeat, for some odd reason.

 

Sounds like it is only switching area pokemon, then. The single ones you had were probably replaced rare pokemon. I had the same when I played.

 

Playing a Nuzlocke of FireRandom.

Managed to snag a scizor from the three balls of fury. Then I caught a Ttar. Then there was a Milotic in Viridian Forest.

Wut. Awhhhhsome...
