Went down to the river and caught some slowpokes and evolved a 1870 slowbro. Also got like 25 starmes...

Now I just need 1 more horsea and a shittone of dratini.

Also eloped my clafairy and ekans finally.

In other news, I caught a Nidoqueen to match my Nidoking and found out most of my town's gyms and pokestops are in the old part of town. Instinct was ruling.

 

Are pokelures popular where you live? People are popping them all time time here, especially after 5-6 PM. These were taken at the same spot, most of the city centre is similar.

 

Yeah same here, parks and churches. I spend my gym coin on incubators and just poach other people's lures.

 

Lure parties all weekend. Just find a decently popular park.

 

Yeah, the local university has a spot where four Pokestops intersect, and they're all constantly lured.

Also, the Nurse Joy project has a lot of folks constantly setting down lures at hospitals for kids stuck there, which is pretty lovely.

 

You've got some hospitals asking to be taken off the list though of pokestops though. :|

 

Melbourne CBD last week. I'm in the middle of the city there, so it's that on all sides.

I also got a Chansea literally immediately after the first time I popped an incense.

That may have coloured my opinion on what exactly incense was, lol...

 

no progress on new pokemon. I think i hit a wall somewhere. I keep getting the same old pokemon every where. I am haunted by Dodou

 

Finally got enough (and then well past the amount needed) of Dratini to get a Dragonite!

Gonna evolve him during my next mass evo : )

 

Sat down at the popular pokestop in town (near a lake, 3 stops in reach) and used my lucky egg to evolve like crazy. Went from level 13 to 17 and caught 10 new ones (only at 46 different ones). It's crazy how many people were there around midnight! (Well, I was one of them, so ...)

 

At 98 types, I want to hit 100 then I think I'm done until I travel around. I haven't caught any new ones in about a week, just evolving and only got a few ones left.

 

By the way, don't expect a functioning game today. PokemonGo has been released in Japan, and all servers are currently cinders.

 

They need to stop letting other people play my game...

 

Evolved my Gangar for number 99, annoyingly low cp of 720 considering it evolved from a 620 Haunter.

 

Are most of you actually waiting to get to the optimum 60-ish evolutions before popping your lucky egg for 30 min? I have 35 evolutions ready and am wondering if I should be patient until I get enough to fill up all 30 minutes of lucky egg time...

 

Yes. it's really easy.

 

Levelling past 20 is slow, but considering the game sort of maxes at 30 and they won't add more content for months I guess that's a good thing. Level 23.5

 

i live inland and get alot of fire/ground types. my sister lives near the coast and has hordes of magikarp water types.

i made up an excuse to go visit the last week and came back with fully evolved starmie, golduck, seaking, tentacruel, and of course gyarados.

not enough dratini for a dragonite yet, though i did catch a lv22 dragonaire for my 'dex.

i am now one of the few water type trainers around my town now. time to conquer every gym in my immediate area
