I do not think the Go+ is worth the price. The only benefit for me is the ability to track steps when the screen is locked and i would not pay to improve that feature.

Still waiting Go to rotate pokemon, I caught everything I could around where i live. Need some new pokemon and new features to keep the game fresh.

 

Is there a list anywhere of the best configuration for each pokemon in terms of moves? Ive found a few which were from early july and obviously out of date and others which were just shit.

Since im almost finished collecting im niw going through getting the best version of each, powering up and building up dust and candy.

I've got to 136 pokemon. Now if going through trying to get top IV Pokemon for each and power up the best ones. Actually got some pretty good non standard Pokemon.

 

It has slowed consideribally. I have been lvl 24 for about 3 weeks and seen 118 pokemon. 10K eggs are rare, and the 5k dont give me the pokemon i need, i get krabby every other egg.

The game is starting to get a bit stale for me, it needs some new life injected back in it. Maybe rotate the pokemon that are spawning, or add more pokemon. It is now something i play on my way to work or walking to the gym

 

Yeah now I only play it when I am out anyway, before I used to go out looking on nice days.

I don't think they should bring out second gen though, most people I know are on like 70-90 pokemon.

Bringing in pvp battles and type trainers would be cool.

I'm a summer child through and through.

 

I slowed down considerably on my advance since I started working. I am level 22 and currently waiting to get pokemon with good IV to evolve them all in one go with the lucky egg and once I do that should be over a hundred pokemon captured.

My main problema though is finding fire pokemon. I know they are supposed to be in residential áreas on the cities but I can't find them. Heck, the only one I see relatively often, and even then a lot less tan the other types is growlithe! So far I have run into one charmander, one vulpix, one ponita and one magmar and the first two ran away after the first throw, with Berry and ultraball! I run into dratinis more often than I run into fire types!

Other than that though, it is growing a bit stale. I know it is mostly a matter of time until I get what I need. Dratinis appear in a zone close to my workplace, ghost types close to my brother's house (even though I have had no reason to visit lately), electric in the city where I go every day, insects around my house, normal and flying types (except farfetch) freaking everywhere, wáter types everywhere. Grass types I have trouble finding bulbasaurs to evolve it but they are not eaxctly rare. Same with the wáter starter. Fairy types I also find hard to find though and fighting types too. I have some idea where machops are in the city but I have Little reason to go there and Little time too, same place as the ground types and I am in a similar situation with the phychic types, which appear in the rich part of the city, close to the dratini but on the other side of the river.

 

Level 26 currently, and 121 Pokemon. I have a few more that I can evolve soon. Other than that it's just kind of grinding out candies from buddy Pokemon. I really only take it out when I go running now.

 

We still don't have the buddy system in my country...

 

It only allows you to very slowlt get candy by walking. Its nice but doesnt make things a whole lot faster.

 

I had never found a Charmander in the wild (hatched two I think), so while it is tedious it's better than nothing. I get about 1.7 candies a day from my run so I'll take it.

I would like 1-2-3 better though

 

New up dates, gyms are finally more balanced with you able to fight with a full team of 6. They also adjusted how exp is worked out.

A few more cosmetic changes as well. Im pretty happy with the way they are slowly tweaking the game, i guess pvp by christmas along with first legendaries.

As for pure speculation, looking at how they changed the way medals are shown, i bet they will have something to do with legendaries and events. Right now they do nothing, no prozes or exp. i think they will unlock access to legendaries, 6 medals is one 12 another ect.

 

Medals as yet don't do anything. Badges give bonuses, which for Pokemon with two types makes catching a lot easier.

 

From what I read on Silph Road, the two catch advantages are averaged, not added together. It is rather new, though, so maybe that's still up in the air?

 

Either way I've noticed my catch rate for basic Pokemon like Pidgey and Weedle has gone up.

 

I agree, my catch rate improved for basic pokemon, and I farm all the 12 candy pokemon for mass evolution. They also decreased the time for the evolve animation which really helps me when i evolve 50 pokemon in one lucky egg.

I also noticed a decreases in the amount of potions and revives i am getting. I am actually running out

...it seems the Professor is colourblind.

 

I wonder when they'll start doing events. They hinted at a Halloween one coming on FB but that might have just been PR.

I'm at 136 and about to evolve my Charazard for 137.
