So recently I started playing the fangame Infinite Fusion, made in RPGMaker/Pokemon Essentials. Core concept of the game is being able to use "splicers", which fuse two Pokemon together into an unholy abomination unto the Lord, with the typing and stats of both 'mons. While for most fusions the game'll use some abominable sprite that was made by a computer, most of the fusions you'll be likely to see will have gotten custom sprites, which really improves how the game looks.

As the game seems to have somewhat caught on on the discord for at least me, @Paradise and @ChaosGuy, I figured we might as well have a DLP thread about it, to share playthrough details and show off your favorite fusions, both the ones that are really cool and the ones that are extremely cursed.

That Mewtwo/Gengar fusion would be busted AF lol.

Scizor/Metagross looks fucking incredible... though that Guarados/Dragonite looks right out of the Derpbook of recent Pokemon games...

Also, your typhlotar looks like a Typhlosion wearing overall trousers rofl. It's as if he's some new type of Blacksmith Pokemon...

For all we know, we just learnt the origin of the Ma family. Tired of living underground, they used their herculean bodies to burrow to the surface and just punched each other in the face so much with their arms' newfound freedom that it morphed their faces.

Is this based off of the usual FireRed?

 

Yes and no. It's the same region but it's a fangame rather than a romhack. Plus it draws in things from later games such as the physical/special split, Gyarados thanks them for this, the Fairy typing, every poison Pokemon thanks them for this, and some mons from gen 3 through 6 although not too many of them.

 

Beat way to describe it is Heartgold+. Also you start in Kanto rather than Johto.
