I am hopeful for Hawaii, because that would be super fun imo

Ability to go back to Kalos would be fun I guess but if I could go back to a previous region I'd probably rather it be Sinnoh or Unova just because I never played gen 4 or 5.
Palindrome linked me this prediction form earlier and I filled out my thoughts/guesses, curious to see what others say.

I filled out the form with my pokedreams and pokeshiggles. My thoughts on what actually will be introduced is meh, going for my hopes. I'm ready to be disappointed, yet still sink dozens of hours in it.

Of course, since this is due for a holiday 2016 release, we have 10 months of angst and squeeing to go.

The egypt stuff doesn't make much sense, really, but I hope so. If only because Cofagrigus is such a fucking cool concept and I've enjoyed all desert Pokemon content.

 

I think we could see more artificial, man-made pokemon coming with Magearna the creme of the crop. I expect a few to come from fusing separate types(Any new steel+elec species) into one new pokemon for the final evolution.

I don't think they'd necessarily pull a brand new region dex on us, either, but split it up with some of the older generations given the trailer hyping the first six gens. Battle Frontier is eh, maybe.

Pokemon Sun, huh...



The series outpaced me years ago but my brother's probably excited.

The image of the bird pokemon looks a good bit like a woodpecker.

I don't think it's England based on the fact that there is a large tropical palm tree in the picture. I've heard Spain thrown around because one of the developers took a trip there.

I'm trying to figure out what pokemon is in that truck besides a Furfrou. The one below it is definitely a Blastoise.

 

I'm more and more convinced it's Hawaii. Even the woodpecker looking Pokemon shows off a crest in its coloured picture that looks an awful lot like a Hawaiian Cardinal.

Also, Masuda has spent a buttload of time in Hawaii since 2010.

The trailer also shows an ocean patterened Vivillon being traded. Where do you find that specific pattern? Two places. Hawaii and a small island off the coast of Madagascar.

And then it's all a ruse and the next game has this peninsula as a basic template.

 

So perhaps we're finally going to see the Tiksi Branch of Silph Co.? That poor Scientist has been stuck there for an awfully long time now.

 

I remember that. Poor guy probably has icicles everywhere. I really hope that Sun and Moon does what Gold, Silver, Crystal, HeartGold and SoulSilver did. Being able to travel multiple regions was glorious.

Oh no, all the starters are adorable. How am I supposed to choose between them? The legendaries are also awesome-looking.

 

I actually think the water starter is trash, the other two are cute though, Fire/Dark for the cat's final form, right?

Probably. The water starter's final form might be Water / Fairy. By its design, I can't see any other type in there and it better not be Water / Ice. We already have two Water / Ice seals. <_<

 

My first reaction to the owl was that it was stupid looking as hell.

I've since gotten slightly more used to it, so I don't completely hate it now.
