If it's called oldgoose I'm going to have to take it as my starter.

I actually think they look pretty good. Redesign these two guys in 8-bit and you could swear they were 151.

It needs to learn Sky Attack upon evolution from base koala form. Also despite all appearances it should be a Poison/Fire type just because everything based on Australian critters should have affinities for both.

Remember that all the Pokemon you're seeing so far are intro-region pokemon. Equivalent to Pidgey and Rattata.

Lots of electric and fairy types of seems.

The normal/dragon type looks a bit weird but I think it's largely to do with those blank pink eyes.

Another pikachu clone but one that's built for rollout.

The derp bug/bus Pokemon seems to evolve into one of the most badass Pokemon I've seen in a long while.

Lastly, you guys think you'll need Xerneas and Yveltal to change Zygarde to Zorrogarde?

It has a railgun for a face. And it's electric type!

I also liked the hummingbird thing.

That Bug/Electricity evolved form is badass as hell. Provided the pokemon is not completely useless, I'm going to run that in my team most certainly just for the look.

I'm not thrilled with the design of the bus/bug pokemon. It's definitely not getting used on my team.

I love Dazzle, though. The possibilities~

You mean the one that evolves into this epic railgun beast?

It's a genuinely exciting looking Pokemon. Why? Because they bucked the trend if making Pokemon overly humanoid/cutesy.

    This thing looks dangerous.

New picks of pokemon were released. They look pretty good. The new dragon normal type looks high

I am definitely more excited for this generation than the last one. I like all of the new pokemon with the exception of Drampa and Bruxish (though Dazzling is cool).

If y'all didn't know: Pretty sure Drampa is based off of this creature

Source on it being based off that? They don't look alike at all to me.

Drampa = dragon grampa. That's why it's got all the white hair and no pupils - like cataracts. Its dex info says it's gentle and likes to hang around in parks and schools. The old man pokemon.

I mean it's not official, but when I saw the tentacle things I immediately thought of that dragon slug creature...

Edit: Look at some of the other pictures on Google, am I crazy or do Drampa's arms and tail look similar to this sea slugs?

Whelp, I'm thinking that I was crazy. This is part of its summary: "Drampa are dragons that live alone in the mountains 10,000 feet above sea level."

The two new pokemon on serebii are fairly interesting, Rockruff, which looks like some mix of a dog and a squirrel to me, and a Koala with a drum. I know it's a bit of a stretch, but Hawaii makes me think of coconuts, and Exeggutor has coconuts for a face. New Mega Evolution confirmed?

Drampa is vaguely reminiscent of Chinese-style dragons, à la the dragons in Avatar: TLA (Book 3), and I want to say Azulongmon in Digimon. Wouldn't exactly be the first time they'd be lifting region-inappropriate mythology, so... (cf: Regi-trio, Swords of Justice).

Hell, it could even be the pseudo-legendary of the generation.
