Only one I think that comes close to that Froakie fake is Feraligatr. MAYBE Empoleon.

Also Rentz, I'll just box the gift pre-gen 6 pokemon I get and not even bother catching any. I'll be completionisty second playthrough.

 

Feraligatr is a crocodile Spinosaurus. Blastoise is a giant bipedal turtle that is also a tank. Empoleon is is a steel-plated penguin knight with a trident-crown-facemask and a flat lace cravat.

With the exception of Gen V, where they all looked derpy, the Water Starters have consistently been the most badass looking in terms of final forms.

I'd put Feraligatr and Blastoise both above that, and probably put Empoleon below it.

And Feraligatr sucked. It sucked less than the other two, but it sucked, nevertheless.

 

Typhlosion didn't fucking suck. Of course it's not new Charizard, but I would still pick it over most starters in the game IMO, so hot.

 

The Gen 2 starters are my favorite overall set of starters (though there have been a few individual ones I've liked more, namely Empoleon).

 

Feraligtr > All Water Starters.

Exp Share will revert to Exp All, with a twist. Exp Share will give 100% exp to participating pokemon and 50% exp to the rest of the party.
Megalutions are meant to elevate pokemon to "legendary" power status, which is why only one mega-stone per party is allowed.

As I understand it, it's going to be 350% exp per battle. Farm some lucky eggs and it'll be 500%.

Thanks. I don't check Bulbanews very often, usually just go to serebii. I'm kinda annoyed that they're prioritizing new moves with new Pokemon, but that's hardly unexpected.

I really, REALLY want to learn more about sky battles and hope they're fucking awesome.
