Well that was fun. Finished with plant-starter, charizard, goodra, pangoro (for the VM's) and abomasnow. Mega-charizard y is hilariously powerful. Now off to find the Mewtoo, train that froakie and so on. All in all I enjoyed.

    Eevee is at route 10.

So, yeah, I haven't touched a Pokemon game since Emerald, but I have the money to blow on this and I'm feeling nostalgic? I'm just leery of investing in a console I'm probably not going to find another use for.

Do you just not like video games heh? The 3DS has a handful of spectacular games, you don't have to buy it JUST for Pokemon.

I can't wait to get Fire Emblem Awakening, Luigi's Mansion (launch title heh), and Ocarina of Time 3D. Eventually.

Ice dino evolves at L39 and above, at night.

I can trade you a male eevee (L7) if you want, and if you could catch me a Skrelp.

PM me your friend code if you want.

I'll catch you a Skrelp for an Eevee, no problem. My friend code is 3325-2527-7532 under the name Mel.

Awesome. Send me the request whenever, I should be playing for the next while.

If anyone else wants eevees, let me know. I'm currently breeding them and dropping some into wondertrade (hoping to maybe increase the quality there. So far I've received crap, and a Hawlucha. Unfortunately my Talonflame was a much higher level).

    Also, I have a few Goomy I don't want.

SO, my 3DS didn't come in yesterday and I just realized that the post office is closed on Monday for Columbus Day.

FUCK. How does Skrelp evolve? I'm so frustrated. And no, it's not knowing Camouflage and leveling up past level 37, I tried that.

Kind of an aside, but since these new games sparked a bit of Pokemon fever I decided to try and emulate Pokemon Yellow again after god knows how long. It's kind of fun going back, despite how dated it is. Really wish they'd made a remake of this one when they did FireRed and LeafGreen.

Don't forget the downloadable games. I'm pretty sure they've got Super Metroid up, and a bunch of others as well. The arcade lineup is extremely nice.

Eevee are at the fields of flowers before the field of stonehenge stones. This is all before second gym.

Anyone know when I should evolve floette, and where to find a shiny stone? I've gotten fire/thunder/water/leaf from supertraining, but no idea on shiny.

Stonehenge stones are right after the second gym, not before.

I think, for the stone, you just keep using Rock Smash and hope? Haven't found anything myself, but you seem to get random stones from breaking stuff.

Fucking horde of scraggy. If you can't clear the whole horde they will become the biggest annoyance in the game. All the leers, sand-attacks, low kicks...

Anyone get really lucky on wonder trade? My friend just traded up from a scatterbug to a Tauros...

You can find a shiny stone at the skiddo ranch after the third gym/city

I finished the Flare plot. It was epic. This is the only Pokemon game who's plot managed to give me chills, though that was mostly due to the graphics and music. Still, it was awesome.

Onto the final gym! Come, my Yveltal, let us destroy everything~

Geez, the Exp-Share is ridiculously OP. I thought the Lucky Egg from Black and White was excessive, but this is worse.

Pokemon has never been much of a challenge after I first played it at 8 or so years of age. But this is too easy. I'm in Route 8. Trainers have Pokemon around 16-19. My levels are 22-26. My Frogadier is 26. I have used it on roughly five Pokemon since it evolved. I've caught and started raising three Pokemon since it evolved, and it has gotten level up after level up with me barely touching it. Ridiculous! I'm going to turn it off.

The giant mansion/palace at the end of Route 6 was a little disappointing. I was hoping for a Sinnoh-esque garden where you could find baby Pokemon. But instead it was really a giant empty space. The fireworks were nice though.

There are so many Gen I and Gen II references. Youngster Joey? Chasing a Pokemon to capture it like Farfetch'd in Ilex Forest? Youngsters obsessed with shorts, including a direct 'comfy and easy to wear' quote? I'm not sure if there is a lack of ideas or if GameFreak went crazy with references for this game.

But my complaints are dwarfed by my sheer enjoyment of this. I haven't been this enthusiastic since I first played Platinum, after being somewhat turned off the series after Ruby.

I'm in love with Honedge. It is my favourite Pokemon since Togekiss. Something about the attack animation is just stupidly satisfying.

I've been taking this really slowly and filling my pokedex with all the pokemon I can, not including evo's. Just passed the second gym on both my X and Y.

Oh and just spamming wondertrade and then trading miles for PP ups and Max Revives is hilariously broken.

Well, I finally beat the Champion. Putting me a bit behind blab and others for post-game stuff. Also, get on IRC guys. More fun to be had, especially since the friend talking in-game is rather annoying. Having to stop everything and all.
