Wow. Polar bears are my new favourite animal.

 

The tech is incredible. Was first introduced to Geoff Bell - though not personally - on a jdp production about swarms. His technical camera work is extraordinary and they were editing it in-house while I was there.

Awesome-sauce. And the missus made me laugh on the bit about courtship: "See - it's not only human women who put men through an impossible series of challenges before sex."

edit and I just checked - it was a jdp prod here too. Undoubtedly a few more like this'll be commissioned fairly soon.

I laughed as the bear stuck his head out of the water for the first youtube clip.

Pedo Bears has a winter cousin.

 

My favorite was the first clip. God damn ninja bears, sneaking up when you least expect it.

The shot where he just barely pokes his head up from behind the snow made me laugh hard.
