Sounds great in concept, but have you ever played any kind of CoD on Xbox Live?

The sheer amount of 14 year-olds - who are coincidentally the biggest dickheads I've ever had the misfortune of playing with - on consoles is staggering.

Although cross-platform opens up a lot of interesting possibilities, I'm not really looking forward to additional Black Ops-like communities.

No idea about the PS3 players though, but integrating the Xbox would be the next step. cough Games for Windows - Live cough.

 

XBox can't cross-platform play Portal. Only PS3, PC, and Mac, at this stage. I think this was due to Sony allowing Steam on the PS3 and having gamers link their Steam and PSN accounts.

edit: given Oz's post below, it sounds like there's more dickheads on PS3 than I was expecting.

 

So it's going to be released in half an hour.

Can't fucking wait to play it.

*sigh* I should have expected that Steam wouldn't have the capacity.... I can't unlock it because their servers are full.

Is it me or does does the bot's "vocal accent beneath her hearing abilities" sound like the accent Clarkson did when he was interviewing Amber Heard when he was making fun of rednecks in texas? D:?

Honestly, I don't know why anyone would get angry about their thread. It's a bunch of women stuck on the idea of victimization, who seem to need to justify their failure in life by blaming it on outside factors, up to and including Portal 2.

The entire forum has like 3 threads, and the only thread with any substantial amount of replies is the valve one. Couple that with the sheer inanity of their argument, and it's just a good guess. I could be wrong, but I'd say it's more likely to just be some guy who decided it would be good fun to mess with Valve fanboys (he was right).

Anyone tried the multiplatform coop? That's the main reason I'd buy it, so I'd like to know if it's lag free/reasonably challenging to hold my friends/my attention.
