Yes. I'm very mad. Because I a - don't have Portal 2, and b - the PSN servers have been destroyed by it. >_<

This was, quite simply, the best sequel we could have ever hoped for.

5/5, and if it doesn't get Game of the Year than something is seriously wrong with the world.

    That is all.

Off to make my broke ass friend buy this immediately so we can play co-op.

Just finished it and it was awesome. Took about 7 hours to complete and only three of the chambers made got me angry. Spoilers for which ones:

The one where you have to climb on a bunch of beams and used all three gels to get through (speed gel with repulsion at the end, white for portals and then bounce on through), and then go through a different room on the same level. That annoyed me.

Second was the one where Wheatley tears another chamber in half to give you an exit. Took me ages to catch on with that one. Also, if you're quick you can see the smaller robot at the exit of the torn chamber.

Third was the Holmes vs. Moriarty, Aristotle vs. MASHY SPIKE PLATE! That's about the point I began to hate Wheatley.

God, this was the only room (if I'm thinking the same one) in the entire game that I could not get for a while. I was too stuck in my ways.

I kept trying to cover up the blue gel with an extra long red gel runway, and I kept trying to jump over the little ledge at the end. :facepalm Even just hearing myself say this makes me feel like an idiot. lol

For the most part, nothing else really gave me trouble, aside from the odd derp moment.

Yeah, I kept forgetting that tractor beams could be used to give you height that would translate into speed if you stuck a portal on an angled surface.

Game was amazing, I honestly loved Wheatly, a lot of the reason for that however is that I also love Stephen Merchant on The Ricky Gervais Show.
The start of the game was INCREDIBLE. That lasted all the way until Glados was replaced by Wheatley and he chucked us down to the bottom of that place.

I found the puzzles (The old testing chambers with Cave someone) down there extremely tiresome as half the time you didn't know where the fucking exit was. And getitng some place could be as retarded as having to look through a grill extremely far away with only one place to see the portal surface. Oh, and the rooms were absolutely fucking huge too.
Other than that, game was, as I said, incredible. 5/5 definitely, personal pissoffs in the middle didn't detract my enjoyment overall, just at the time.

Wonder if there's be a Portal 3 in SPACE, WE'RE IN SPACE!!!.

    Just finished.

It was great, unfortunately due to fucking Ellisande being a douche the mid game twist epicness was lost on me because I kept expecting it to happen. -_- All the same, it was great. 5/5

I kept thinking that Wheatley was GLaDOS up until she got shoved into a potato. I figured she was just trying out new and inventive ways of torturing Chell.

Lol, I figured that was why he got temp banned.

Man, I must have beaten the final level five times now, just to watch the ending cinematic. Everything about it is just awesome. First time the turret society started up their song I actually got chills.

As for Wheatley, after reflecting for a while, I realised that I preferred him when he was just a well meaning bumbling fool, rather than the bumbling fool. His characterization was still absolutely brilliant throughout the whole game, but his rambling and mistakes were just much more charming before I found out that he was designed to do that.

I love how the last epic part of the final level is sort of referenced earlier in game, and that the last portal placement makes sense in canon.

Earlier, when Chell first uses the White "Portal anywhere" Goo, Cave Johnson explains that the Goo is made from ground-up MOON dust (and gives you painful tumors). It's this little background info that made me think "Hey, what if I shoot for the moon here?" Turns out there isn't any distance limitations on those portals :D

Live Action short film Portal: No Escape.

A full length movie like this would be so awesome, although maybe they'd run out of neat things to do with the portal gun (is that possible?)

It's really very cool and worth bumping this thread for. (I guess I could have made a new thread somewhere else, but eh).

That was quite possibly the coolest thing i've ever seen.

Mind = blown. Never expected it to be done as well as that.
