I have looked through the library and used the search function but none of the stories I've found really fit the bill.

I'm looking for a story where Harry wakes up in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, possibly by nuclear war but not a one where Voldie won, and has to survive a world without civilisation/society.

If possible it would have Voldie as a 'ruler' of what's left of his Death Eaters and the rest of the 'dark' wizards/witches. Harry would be the one to build up an opposing army to stop the torrent of evil sweeping across the land, or something similar.

Basically jsut a post-apocalyptic world where Voldie is taking advantage and Harry has to stand against him.

 

Sounds like your wanting a fic sort of like David Gemels Sipstrassi series. Could be interestingish, perhaps even as a type of xover.

 

Never heard of him but I've been reading Steven King's The Stand and it just got me thinking. That has a very basic type of magic and you could easily cross the two (though you'd have to transpose Harry/Voldie to America first).

 

This could be turned into a great challenge. Voldemort could have caused a nuclear world war and they fight for what is left of the world, harry wish to rebuild the world and voldemort wish to rule it.

 

indeed Lord Apophis, thou art right, it could be a great challenge, though it would be very easy to do it badly.

If anyone wants to take it up, go ahead. I'm not a good enough writer to do anytihng besides one shots (plus a story needs to keep my attention long enough to actually get written ).

On a side note, if anyone does find a fic like this, even if it aint too good, I'll read it so get back to me.

Though I was going for an equal opputunities fic where both Harry and Voldie are on an equal footing at first. While Harry is just finding his feet, Voldie is doing a little dance at his world domination plans.
