Oh, yeah, yesterday yahoo was a problem, too. Though Sesc and someone else eventually got the mail - several hours later.

 

Saw this early yesterday. What was I doing up at this ungodly hour, you might ask? Getting my ass kicked by strep throat, that's what. Hot and cold and hot and cold and hot and cold and... you get the picture. All that was enhanced by a really terrible sore throat and flu-like aches and dizziness.

I HATE being sick. I don't think I left the recliner on Saturday, tbh.

Anyway, went to the magical quill and got in in no time.

Portus is AKA WolfThorn9, IIRC. Got a confirmation email pretty quickly but I was too sick to fuck with it yesterday. Luckily I realized it was time-sensitive and activated it today. I thought that would be the last step, but apparently NOW is when I'll have to wait for the Welcome email.

Ah well. I'm only really interested in the extra content, not any of the games or what-have-you. I suppose another avenue of connecting with DLPers or recruiting new (and potentially worthy) blood to DLP is a plus as well.

Actually, I'm wondering why so many folks here are registering for multiple accounts. Is it over the usernames, which I think would be a terribly vain reason and a waste of time. If, however, it's about securing accounts for other DLPers - or to have more "leverage in setting the direction of the site," or whatever the betas do - then I can see the use in multiple accounts.

 

It's a bit of a mixture of all of that, along with Sesc's reason. Also, everyone will be let in at different times. So, hopefully one of my three is accepted right away....that will be the one I use.
