So I've tested this multiple times now, and my 360 controller is disconnecting every time i rapidly hit the x button for a weapon deadlock in the game I'm playing. This is INCREDIBLY frustrating. Does anyone know a fix for this? I'm assuming this is some patch to prevent rapid-fire interfering here.

.....Nevermind. Apparently my very first set of batteries were dying after only 8 hours of play.

Yep, this happened to me when I first bought Arkham Asylum; whenever I pressed the grapple button the controller would switch off.

You know what's awesome? I just plug my PS3 controller in and let it sit for a while and it recharges. No batteries.

I noticed that sometimes, even with the full batteries, the vibrate function on the controller can occasionally disconnect it.

Especially if you're using rechargeables. Sometimes you can shake it loose, too. It can drive me up the fucking wall. But then again, this controller's been around for a while now, so I guess it's about time.

Because wired controllers are a thing of the past and are much more inconvenient?

You shouldn't have dropped it. And wireless controllers rock - no more fagets tripping over wires and knocking the damn console over.
