Question for people here. Is there any benefit to having more than one road network, rail network, army barracks and training center?

From what I know the road and rail networks aren't even coded yet so there's no reason to buy them. Also, the barracks and training center you only need one of each to take advantage of what they do. That may change in the future but for now, no point in having more than one.

My Govt. satisfaction is 84.8%. Alkanak.

Maybe it didn't pass because I tried for three constitutional laws in a row?

I seriously think that it's totally random. Try to pass it again - it'll probably work. I had 60-something approval and had no electricity and still became Dictator For Life.

Well, that's irritating. Does becoming Dictator for Life mean all your subsequent laws are passed and that you no longer need to worry about little things like elections and govt satisfaction?

Nope. That's why I asked whether laws did anything a while ago.

The laws do nothing and passing/failing is completely random as far as I know.

Dont know about Rail network but road seems to marginally improve disease, literacy and crime. I mostly know the disease because I built 5 clinics and staffed them. Checked the disease rate. Built a shat load of roads(I have sand as a construction resource XD) disease went down a little.

Hmmmm, thats weird. I could have sworn that I heard those parts hadn't been coded. Maybe its was your clinics taking some time to lower the disease rate? Or maybe not and I'm wrong.

I think some/most of the laws do have minor effects. There's a thread where you can propose what laws should be included and what the effects are. Here it is; http://project-terra.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=6

IIRC that law actually does do something, I think it affects pop happiness, govt. satisfaction, etc. There's a thread, Law Suggestions, that details what laws suggested by people do. You'd be able to find that law and what it does there. But no, it doesn't remove the need for law passing etc., because yeah, this is a beta.

    Edit: Ninja'd.

Shouldn't matter. Your stats are much better than mine. Try holding an election. I have 401 seats and every law I passed (3) got accepted so far.

Also, how the fuck do you have that low crime rate and that high literacy rate? How many schools/clinics?

I have none, can't help there.

Research Nuclear and the other Energy thingy. Buy extractors and refiners for your basic resources and build up as many schools/clinics as possible.

Social laws increase happiness. I think constitutional increase govt. happiness.

What's the best way to increase your net income per day? I see mine steadily increasing, I'm just not sure what it is that I'm doing that's causing it.

something like ten schools and six clinics? Also got a university that boosted literacy by like ten percent. I'd check, but I'm on my iPod in a lecture...

Schools and clinics have max services while uni has half.

Edit: since you mentioned crime rate, I think I also have ten police stations...again, full services.
Edit 2: lord anarchy, how do you go about increasing pop? Also, when do we need to worry about getting more land?

Pop increase is done by decreasing the bad stuff and increasing the good stuff + increasing the amount of land you have.
