Hey guys/girls,

I have been trying to find a fic and haven't had much luck with it. In the first chapter Harry kills Voldemort then some aurors + Mrs. Bones show up with Dumbledore. Eventually Harry starts travelling on his own and we find Dumbledore to be a manipulative prick. Hopefully one of you guys know the name. I've been looking for a little and it irritates me that I can't remember the name =(.

 

Do you know any of the search perameters?

 

It should be at least over 50k although I may be wrong, Harry P. 1st character and I don't recall the rating.

Further details . . . Due to his crimes as a death eater Snape is enslaved to Harry otherwise Dumbledore would have got him. It wasn't slash. . . At one point Harry and some of the Ministry Six were going to a quidditch final in greece or similar.

The fic starts with Harry having killed Voldemort. He then breaks from Dumbledore and takes a vacation. When he comes back he realizes that Dumbledore won't stop trying to meddle in his life and use him for his own ends.

They're coming along, but giving me a headache as they do. I had a brainstorm a while back that lead me to making some changes in the ultimate plot line for Legacy. Luckily the changes don't have an effect on anything prior to the chapter I'm working on, but chapter 5 needed some serious reworking.

All in all I think the changes are going to make for a far more exciting story. I'm hoping to have it ready for review here in the next few days.

As to Return of the Gods....I'm bashing my head into the wall a lot. Walking the fine line between "good" bad guy and "ZOMG UBER" bad guy is far harder than I had expected. As it's my first real dark!Harry fic I'm taking my time on it so I don't fall into the same pitfalls I've read so many authors get into.
