Basically Pretty much self explanatory in summary but what caught my attention in this fic is that the author has fully managed to capture the "insanity" of harry potter.

Harry thinks there's no such thing as a magical world and all that he sees is just an elaborate sham created by alien overlord dumbledore intent on taking over the world.

Doesn't seem to have a plot or going in any direction, updates are sporadic and eight chapters so far, Writing is top notch, recommended for a light casual read.
i'd rate it at 4/5

This was somewhat amusing. Cliches, sure, etc. But some of the parodies are actually annoying to read, not funny, so the author needs to be careful. I'd say 3/5 for now.

 

It lives up to its name, I'll give it that much. It has its up points and its shit points. 3/5

 

Two things about this passage confuse me.

First off, how does one, in fact, get inside a Librarian (sex jokes aside)? :?

Secondly, I wasn't aware that the Internet could be "got."

Yes, I'm aware I'm nitpicking at this point, but still...

EDIT: Got a little further into the story now.

The Mary Sue cliché parody is...mediocre, at best. I mean, parodies are supposed to make you laugh in ridicule at the parodied element, right? With "Magnifica," I, at most, felt utter disinterest.

The "wizards are really aliens" side of the story is quite amusing, on the other hand. Harry's sanity (or lack thereof) is mostly entertaining, but can get tedious at times. I particularly enjoyed the Gringotts scene in Chapter 2.

Back on topic, it is a crackfic and I will rate it on crackfic terms. 3/5 for some random hilarity in some parts of the story.

 

Okay, I take this back, the new chapter updated is absolute fucking terrible; it seems like the author is looking too hard to make this a crack fic... *sigh* Another example of a moderately good fic going bad T_T

... A "moderately fic" going "shit insane"?

 

There really isn't anything 'good' about it and it definitely feels as if the author is trying too hard, but the absurdity and randomness made me laugh out loud enough for it to get a decent rating.

3.5/5 rounded up to 4.

 

This made me lol pretty hard actually.

The rest of the chapter had its share of suck moments though, so the fic is keeping to its on again off again ways.

 

Tried the first couple of chapters, but didn't really get on with it. It's not a complete failure, there were a few moments that did make me snigger, but they were the exceptions. 2/5
