I just had a second pick(concurrent pick with me) quasi-troll by typing in some odd combination of Spanish, Japanese and English, until after he was locked in. This happened during last ban pick, after I had stated my intent for mid as first pick before first ban went through.

He then proceeds to play Talon mid against Diana, and continuously get tower dived, and complain about it. Didn't have a single defense item on him, such as a Merc treads, when they had a Fiddle and Leona, too. After the jungler ganks mid and gives Diana first blood, Talon kills Fiddle, but gives Diana a double. Then it just goes downhill from there, with Diana being 10/0 at one point from killing Talon whenever she wants, and ganking bot.

Meanwhile, I was actually handling singed top as Akali(picked at least 15 seconds before the guy chose his Talon) quite handily. Forcing him to back off constantly, rather than try to proxy-farm(he did try once or twice after I had recalled, and died for it each time).

Our Vayne was 5/1 just like me at one point, but our Lulu was 1/7 during laning phase, so the enemy Trist was actually more fed than her.

All in all, a rather unfortunate game.

Previous game we had an Ashe who would ult willy-nilly, and generally just existed to die. Sadly, she seemed honestly contrite about how bad she was doing, so it was hard to criticize her directly. 17/4 that game, but the enemy team just functioned better as a team, and while they only had one player doing outright well, Twitch, they didn't have any players doing nearly worthless like our Ashe and Nami. =/

 

This game was so funny. I have no words. We were losing pretty badly early game, too. Twitch was not farming at all, Diana kept dying, Shen was ok-ish. twitch was raging, and blaming me for him getting caught.

Played 5 placements for 3v3 with friends. Got placed in Gold III, easiest season rewards ever. I think trying to grind through all the trolls in solo queue is not really all that worth it.

 

I don't remember if I mentioned it here or not, but I had a nice run of threes with a friend and his friend. We won twelve matches in a row, placing into gold 3, promotion-skipping into gold 1, then the match that would have got us into the promotion series towards plat is where it went downhill.

Now, see, one of the guys liked to check the enemy team during the load screen of each match. Before it wasn't an issue, but that match, we were against a diamond 3 or 4 threes team, with two of them diamond 1 solo, and the other diamond 2. This put him heavily on tilt, and he just went in expecting to lose, and self-fulfilling prophesy and all that. We lost the next two matches, then never played that as that team again.
For what it's worth, the diamond 3/4 team was actually an alternate team, and the three of them also composed a challenger threes team as well.

 

I was playing my promo's in solo queue, had won 1 and lost the other, next game, got nice teammates and a good comp, but, just as champion select was winding down, my client freezed and I got kicked out of the game, losing my promo series by default.


Some moments I just hate this game.

 

Goodbye Gold 3, I hardly knew ye.

 

After four failed promo series I finally made it into gold today. I'm pretty sure I can get higher if I try, I win most of my games when I get mid and about half when I don't. Though I'm not sure if I can be bothered to play more soloQ than is neccessary (I just want the victorious skin). For now I think I'll just go back to normals, it's been too long since I played Annie jungle.

 

If it had been the latter you'd be seeing a whole lot of raging and bitter tears.

I main support, myself, and it is true that the best Carry!Supports for YoloQ are Thresh and Nami, but you if you want to carry yourself out of whatever hole you dug yourself into, you need to learn mid/jungle, and just carry the fuck out of games outright.

Since you're already Gold, you can play more YoloQ and still get the sense of accomplishment when you win, but care a whole lot less when you lose.

 

So tryndamere, aatrox, and kayle. All 3 with GA. Turns out it's pretty hard to actually kill anything when they get to that point.

 

Well I feel like a dumbass, been sat on my promo series for 4 weeks, played a game a week ago to avoid losing LP as I've been busy recently and I logged on today to find myself out of my promo series - but sat on 100LP.

Kinda frustrating as I've gotta win 3 now to get into my promo series AND get promoted but I've only got myself to blame for not finding time to play 3 ranked games in 4 weeks when I've been sat spamming aram's at weird times in the morning. Literally kick myself if I could, oh well. Plan for tonight/tomorrow is to hammer the ranked ladder and hope I don't get that losing streak and fall back into Gold V.

 

I need to start try harding in ranked again. My goal was to get gold V for the sake of the end of season reward and now that I've achieved that I've been doing things like Jungle Teemo (Trolls enemy jungle post 6, super rough prior to that). Funnily enough, its not even that bad. Anyway, point being I think if I tried hard enough (And played real junglers) I could grind to Plat, Or Gold 2/1 at the very least.

Who are some good (and FUN) junglers? I've gotten bored of my typical Noct, Fiddle, Eve rotation. Should I get J4 and Zac and ride the OP train?

 

Zac is OP, true, but that's not why I play him. I play him because he's so goddamn fun. Hell, he must be the only champion who's actually having fun, himself.

Me on Karthus mid, Lee Sin jungle, Teemo top. Teemo ignores calling MIA constantly, I die early on to 3 in mid for a good 5 minutes loosing the first tower, no one bothers to come to help. Lee Sin tower dives Lux nonstop, feeding her and Naut super early. Dies again after taking dragon, barely surviving, and then dives into a full health Naut. Their Tristana comes up and the three of them take a dump on my chest. Teemo decides to afk after cursing us all out, changes his mind and decides to just "super feed to end if faster" Proceeds to dive directly into their teem.

Matches like that are why I tend to only play aram, just so much of it.

 

MF can jungle? That sounds like a really fun way to ruin my 90% winrate with her. Tell me more please.

 

'Fun' junglers? Well, not necessarily anyone's definition of fun but I always have a good time on Cho, Naut and the very rare Vi game, though I'm looking to add Aatrox to the roster soon.

 

Huh, I'm gonna have to try this. I actually run MF as a solo top mostly. It doesn't work in every matchup, but make it rain is a really strong spell in 1v1 matchups.

 

So I just logged in and I've magically lost 10LP over night after feeling ill most of the night and not wanting to try anything.

I last played a ranked game 9 days and 3 hours ago according to the sticky note on my moniter. What the hell? This is... Interesting.

Edit; Read the FAQ, due to my series being cancelled the LP decay's applied as if I hadn't played for 28 days. Fair, but annoying. Ranked it is!
