The part that you have two champs share the bot farm and leave the jungle untouched.

 

In duo bot the jungle is not let untouched, the point is to bully the opposing solo laner and push so that you can control your own jungle and share the exp/gold there, instead of having dedicated jungler. Quite many of the top European 3v3 teams do this at least. (Source: Got a good friend of mine who plays in challenger 3v3 team on EUNE).

 

Carried bot lane by beating the shit out of Sona/Ashe with Zyra plants and setting up double kills all day, only dying once in the first 10 mins to Zac gank+arrow+crescendo. Elise feeds the shit out of Nasus top, misses the dumbest stuns and requests a lane swap, then proceeds to get caught 1v3 when I left everything bot warded. Comp explodes when we take dragon, Elise doesn't stop feeding until the game ends with her 0/10, Cait rages the whole time, Steel Legion Lux fucks up our Ahri somehow, Nocturne always wastes ult trying to get Nasus instead of someone bot with no summoners.

Le sigh. -15 down to 28.

 

Decided to solo yesterday. Lost my first match to get myself to 0 LP, then I won the next six in a row to get to 100. Went Win-Loss-Win in promos, so in Gold 1 now.

 

Well, I just played some ranks cause my midterms are over. Apparently I still get around 25-30 lp per win, so I just hit my promos for plat IV. Who knows, with this extended deadline, I might have time to get to diamond


Edit: Apparently I got to skip, so Plat III now.

 

Welp, I'm back in Gold 3 now after another hot streak. My lolking graph is all peaks and valleys.

I've been tearing it up with Kayle and I got a Quadra. The enemy Elise didn't give me the Penta despite me being so close to chasing her down. Instead she executes to towers >.>

 

Ended my day 4 out of 7 wins. Wound up gaining around 18 for a win, loosing 25 for a loss. Shit system is shit.

Game 1: Won. Mid as Ziggs against a Swain. Won lane hard, despite our jungler never bothering to show up. Nasus farmed the hell out of his Q, but he couldnt deal with an unfocused team.

Game 2: Lost. Jung Noct.. We had a support Voli who said he'd feed from the goddamned PREGame, a Fiddlesticks who just ran in and either blew his ulti on minion farm, or used it 1v5. Wukong afked half the match.

Gam3: Lost. Jung Noct. Game was literally a 3v5. Garen and Mord wouldnt do anything other then CS under turret, claimed lag spikes. Eventually when an inhib of ours dropped, they both stayed at base the last 20 minutes of the match, spamming surrender requests. Vayne, me, and Leona put in some work and saved our nexus so many times, eventually counter pushing nearly all the way to theirs. Could've easily won if we had damned help.

Game 4: Won. Brand Mid. Useless top Garen. Myself and Draven got fed, facerolled, the end.

Game 5: Won. Brand Mid. Draven from the previous game was on the other team, we had the same Leona. Stomped them, they had a first time Orianna, and their Jax was retarded. Our Shaco jungle wasn't any better, he'd dive and ks everything he could. Me full health brand, being doze by a 100 hp Jax.... and he flash dove in to kill him.

Game 6. Won. Brand Mid. Garen diving like a champ, no help at all whole game from Lee Sin jung. My TF mid was horrible, he couldnt land a single Q. We shutdown Vayne hard and kept rolling.

Game 7. Lost. Brand Mid. Our jungle decided to run bottom the entire time, and their cait and nami roamed TRYING to gank and failing hard. They helped me feed the Kass 5 kills by 15 minutes, and then fed him our jungle. I'd get flash dove under tower, popped up, auto attacked, and Kass would riftwalk in to kill, was chased all the way to inhib at one point. Kaz destroyed our top, and fizz just didnt give a damn, he'd dive towers without minions in a heartbeat.

 

It takes like 200 wins or more to get to your true elo. Enjoy the grind.

 

Just hit Gold 1, let's see if I can make plat in the next 2 days. Maybe if I don't lose at all.

 

So, I was resigned to doing +5/-4 as I went up Gold 1 from the beginning.

Get to the 60's, lose two matches, -4 as usual, then win the next match, +10. The next three go +8, +7, +7, putting me at 78 LP. After that, a -3, which makes me pleased. Then +7 after that, which makes me hopeful that I might get +7/3, and finish to 100 quickly. Then... -4 on the next match, and I'm thinking 'okay, it's back to what it used to be,' then -6, then -9 on the next two, putting me at 63.

All in all kind of lame, but I'm about to go into a match, so I suppose I'll see what my next +/- comes out to be.

I go win 1/lose 1 for like 3 game sets, then lose 3 in a row and you demote me 2 fucking divisions. And those three games I lost were due to complete incompetence at the game for my teammates. My jungle lee ended the game 1/4/1 at 120 cs (higher than the mid laner who got camped with 0 wards) the first game. The second Lee camped me as Morde mid and my nasus just farmed jungle (duo with renekton top who never could take tower vs teemo and never roamed effectively). Third game was just full of baddies and I didn't play very well.

 

Looks like a normal case of MMR moving up according to those winning and losing streaks

In other news, I sadly did not get to skip from Plat III to Plat I and only went up one division to Plat II, so I don't think I will be able to make it to diamond in time. I still get about 25-30 lp per win though, so maybe if I win all the rest I can do it without feeling too burned out.

 

I'm in Gold 3 getting 20 LP for a win and -16 for a loss.

Hoping to play a lot this weekend and maybe get to plat. It's a long shot but might as well try right?

 

Well, -16 on my next. As for MMR moving up and down in accordance to streaks, tragic... I was going +5's for a dozen or so matches, then lost two matches(-4 each match) and got +10 on my next win. Then +8, +7, +7 on the next two. That's a random increase, followed by consecutive decreases in gains.

The following loss for -3 would fit the pattern of 'increased gains/decreased losses', then +7, which fits. Suddenly my next loss goes -4, then -6, -9, -16.

I do understand that generally winning more produces better gains and smaller losses, and losing does the opposite, but that's just a jarring and silly reversal of gains/losses.

Oh, yay, +20 after my next match. I guess my MMR is 'at the right area', or something, for big gains and big losses.

 

It's cause I believe it depends on who you match up with too. The MMR of your opponent are usually not the same, even if you had the same win/loss ratio the whole time. E.G, winning a game where your opponents have much higher MMR than your division would give you more LP. I don't know how the math works, but that is usually the reason why there's differences in lp gains. Nonetheless though, in general, streaks would bring higher and higher lp gains because you would match up with increasingly better opponents (according to MMR). But, match making doesn't always work like that where they can always get you the ideal high MMR opponents for you.

Right now i'm plat 2, and get matched up with Diamond 4,5. Thus it makes sense I get about 20-30 lp. If say I was being matched up with plat 3-5, I'd probably see a much smaller gain.

 

I understand that but it's stupid. I've done that cycle literally 3 times this season and I always get back to gold 3.

 

Well, after four quick matches brought me from 83 +5, +5, +3, -3, to 93, over the next eight hours, and ten matches, I ended up at 95 LP:
+3, -3, +3, -3, +3, +2, +1(99LP), -3, +2, -3.

Ah well, that was yesterday, let's see what I can do today.

 

Well, +2, +1 so far, at 98. Hopefully another two wins in a row.

2-2, Our Jarvan top was building damage as if he would out-damage the enemy Tryn top...Tryn went 13/3/5, and enemy Cait went 12/2/7. I valiantly held mid as Karma (1/3/3 final) until they came to five-man push while my team was dicking around.

Let's see if Akali can win me my final match.
