    Irelia can destroy a ryze in lane. To a lesser extent so can jax and he doesn't have the problem of getting out scaled. For midlane Ori is very good against him, can crush him in lane and has an equal impact in team fights.

    Mmm. I find I still seem to lose lane as Jax vs the Ryze. irelia though is a completely alien beast for me, I know how her abilities work, I know how to fight against that, but I cannot for the life of me play her.

    Also, today I played my first game of Cho'gath ever in ranked into a full AD comp with double ADC (quinn top). He's such a fuckin beast. I got pushing bot lane by both their ADCs and their Blitzcrank and I tanked them all the way to my inhib turret where the rest of my team collapsed on them. Frozen Heart + Randuins OP.

    Still need to work on my mechanics, missed so many qs that my duo Yasuo main wondered if I should just go back to my J4/Vi jungle.

    Irelia is a pretty natural pick against Ryze, Gangplank would probably also work well. Renekton would also work if you maxed the stun first [as you should] and then the Q sustain.

    You're never going to just take all the poke from Ryze and win by wasting his mana, because he'll go Tear and never run out of mana anyway. You have to poke him down while also sustaining. Make sure you have TP, make sure you waste his farm against the turret when he backs, try to make it hard for him to farm safely because the slower he gets Seraph's Embrace the better for you.

    If you're duo with a friend I'd just run someone with a stun and then gank him a shit ton. Cho'Gath top would also do okay, you just would go BV/SV instead of FH initially. Ryze is never going to burst a Cho out of lane if the Cho is even mildly competent.

    Anyway, won a game, got to promos. Won my first game as thresh, don't really remember it. Second game, thresh again. Hook leads to my adc getting first blood. Then my sister comes home and goes on netflix. Internet ruined, 500 ping for the rest of the game. Went out for the night, came back and played my last game. Sona, gave up first blood to a heal bait. Won the game anyway. Hello Silver II.

    So yeah, stopped playing LoL for a while and I fell from S1 to S3, and so a few days ago I decided to play again, and well, I was able to climb up to G5 in a few days :D

    I'm now in Silver III again. I got to promos for silver I, then I lost 9 in a row. No matter how good or bad I do, it's just a loss.


    Update: Won 3 games, got into series. Lost the first game of that. Now I'm in loading screen with two junglers. Stuck in silver III for another while probably.

    4 game win streak got me promoted into plat 3. Would have been a 5 game winstreak but my game got fucking drophacked as we were killing the nexus turrets.

    I seem to have stalled out a bit in silver 1. I had like a fifteen game winning streak, then a 3 or 4 game losing streak. Played just one game earlier today and it was a close win, so I just have to be patient and grind out the games without raging. Easier said than done. I need to look into some other form of rage relief (maybe a second martial art with more hitting?) so I can safely get my gold rewards this season. That seems like a much better plan than getting to the bottom of my rage issues.

    Been pulling really hard-to-win games [4v5, leaver left early, etc] out of my ass lately in 50 minute slug-fests. But the losses are really bad ones.
