Well I have it. For some reason I thought it was a code, and not just account gifted. Rip.

 

So this happened...

At about 45 minutes in Xin starts talking in chat asking for me and twtich (who literally AFK'd for about 5 minutes after i took red) to be banned. Needless to say I almost didn't let him win.

Finally decided to start posting on DLP after 2+ years of lurking, so here's some of my stats.

Current Elo: 1717
Ranking: Platinum V

Last week I made Platinum after eight different failed promos in two weeks. Whether it was the 0/6/0 Syndra at ten minutes or the troll I got on my team, reported, then got again, something always went wrong. The universe conspired against me etc. etc. etc.

I might've actually gone "Hey, maybe I don't deserve to be in Platinum" if not for the fact that after I failed I would just play two more games and be back in promos again. I eventually started warning my teammates that we were probably going to lose because I was cursed. Except then I won and got into Plat. Yay me.

I main jungle and play Sion almost exclusively.

 

Well, congrats on winning, at the very least.

 

Finally got Master, too bad it was right before the reset though.

Grats man, I know you have to put in a LOT of work to get that.

 

Started the grind at 11:45 AM PST today, almost as soon as it opened and played all my placement matches back to back. I got Sion every game.

I had a four game winstreak before losing a very close late-game slugfest and then getting styled on hardcore by a Diamond 3 Lee Sin. Won another three games, including one in which I landed a four-man fully charged Sion Q in the deciding fight, something I've never done or seen before.

Lost the last game due to a lagging/DC'd Riven top and a flaming mid laner.

Final placement review: 7 wins, 3 losses, 10 Sion games
Ranking: Placed back into Plat V

 

Went on a losing streak in placements, ended up in gold 4. I'm getting 30 LP per game though, so I'll be back in plat soon!

 

Went 7-3 and got into Gold 4. I was Gold 5 last season, so I'm satisfied (Although I thought 7-3 would have landed me higher). I'm aiming for plat this season.

 

I also went 7-3 except I got into silver II. From silver I. I'm annoyed. 1 win as Vlad, 1 loss as Sona, 1 win as Alistar, 5 wins 2 losses on Leona. Shouldn't be that hard to get to gold from here.

 

Got placed in Silver for the first time since season one. It's hilarious down here.

 

I got placed in Bronze 3, really really hate working my way out.

 

Placements are ridiculous, I went 6-4 in placements and placed back into Gold 5 (Oro 5 en espanol jajajaja). Go on a winning spree and promo into Gold 3 -meaning my mmr was so high I skipped a promotion series- and I just sat at the screen for a second thinking "I only won 5 games and then 2 more for this win. Why not just place me higher?".

 

Plat still. But screw elo-boosted diamond players. Holy christ, I had one in two games that I lost (I thought I had waited long enough before requeuing too) and that was some of the most painful play I've ever seen.

 

I would have thought all the boosted players would have dropped by now.
