Common, Scandinavians speak English directly out of the womb. It's part of the warranty when you purchase one :p

@Lightless: Su Li is all nice, but actually, and contrary to my previous post, she does seem to be canon outside the books. I don't think she was ever really mentioned, maybe in an interview or something, so I don't see why you fixate on that.

    And what's with the 'oH'?

I've got one somewhere that made this one of my favorite ships, now if I could only find it...

    *Trails off incoherently.*

Ah! Here we go. Its a Jeconais fic, and I believe I've heard words against the author at one time or another but... *shrugs* S'good story anyway.

You're heard words against his new shit, but more members here read Jeconais as a sort of guilty pleasure, fluff fag that (s)he is.

You've probably read this, but I'll list it in case not: Harry Potter and the Acts of Betrayal by Clell65619.

It's Harry/Hermione/Daphne with occasional sex scenes (though nothing terribly graphic). While pretty cliché at times, it's not badly written. A decent diversion that's actually complete.

You will almost never find a Harry/Su fic. Su is practically Cho minus off any character detail whatsoever. Anyone who wants to read or write H/S might as well go for H/C as, her behaviour in OOTP aside, there is nothing really unlikeable about her.

That said, any author who can make his/her readers like a post-OOTP Harry/Cho pairing is undoubtedly a good author.

hmmm... I'm not really sure, but Su seems to have a stronger personality and appeal. The impressions I have on Cho is that she's a fluffy weak minded silly girl :p
I don't think there's really a cannon Su. I mean, we don't know her personality nor anything else about her. Probably the picture that I have of her in my mind is constructed by some random fanfic.
It's not as if I was fixated on her, but I'd like to read a good Harry/Su. People like harry/lily and harry/petunia and as much as there's some good harry/lily around there, do you people really can manage to think of your mothers in any way like that? I sure can't lol...
Well, you asked about fixation and I wanted to give a strange example... not so strange if you refers to Freud anyway.

And oH, I don't have anything against her (Cho) by the way.
And oephyx, the 'oH' I can't really explain in portuguese, much less in english :p.. maybe to show that I'm thinking, agreeing or getting to a realization..

I've read already both of this last recommendations...

I hope I was able to explain well my thoughts ^^ - because I made a mess, going back to insert more things and getting confused myself.

Indeed, what inspired you to even look for Harry/Su ? She's literally the most unknown character. Her and Orla Quirke.

Well, as I said, it was some random fic that gave a good personality to her. The good thing is that you can give whatever personality to her and it wont be different from cannon. At least until someone proves it wrongly :p

Su Li is an excuse for OC. It's not canon, so of course her personality won't be wrong. I don't even know whether we can be sure she exists.

    OP: 'Canon', not 'cannon'.

I had forgotten how good this fic really is. Just finished it again and despite my usual problems with Jeconais, this one kept me entranced all the way to the end. Thanks, I hafta to get up in the morning at 5 a.m to catch a plane...

    Bastard...

As for Su Li, we know she exists but know absolutely nothing about her. It's kind of like writing a story with the majority of Slytherin/Ravenclaw females, it's really just an excuse to write a character you actually like. So, as someone mentioned earlier, it's just an OC with a license to throw in whatever you like as far as personality traits go.

As for Cho, I've come across a few that were well written enough to pass muster. Mostly AUs, of course. In the grand scheme of things, the betrayal wasn't really all that bad unless you're following the movies and not the books. Incidentally, the last one I bothered trying to sit through.

To be fair, some of the board's favorite pairings are the same (Daphne Greengrass, anyone?).

Well, I've yet to see any evidence she does. I did a quick search, and all I found is that she appeared in a draft of a student list by JKR. She could very well have been axed since then. Daphne Greengrass at least appears in the books. And she's hot. Just like Blaise Zabini.

I haven't read the story, but it hasn't been updated in the last six months, so I don't think anything will happen anytime soon.
