I think most of you will remember the awesomeness that was Mystery Science Theatre 3000. I haven't seen much of the episodes but the movie was fucking great.

Some time after the series finished, Mike Nelson (the guy behind MST3K) started doing the same thing with modern blockbusters, including the first two Harry Potter movies and made the comments available online so that you can play them in sync with the DVD.

I haven't seen one whole but there are a few clips on Youtube. Seems great, if a bit dependant on who else is commenting. And I'm not so sure if it is a good idea to take blockbusters instead of movies that were so bad that they were funny themselves.

    Anyone seen one yet?

    Here a few clips:

    Raiders of the lost ark.
    Daredevil
    Jurassic Park
    Harry Potter I

If you search on torrent sites you can usually find versions that have the rifftrax audio and the the movie combined.

The Matrix one is the best by far.

Mike Nelson is awesome. I loved the Wonka one.

I've seen the first HP movie now. Some fucking great comments.
Only thing bad about it is that sometimes I wanted to see the movie instead of hearing the comments, but when you're in the mood it definitely is worth a look.

Best comment was on Hagrid arriving on Sirius' flying motorbike.
"Sorry I'm late, I had to pose for a Meat Loaf album cover."
    That cracked me up.
