She needs a new pc, so... here I am I guess!
    https://pcpartpicker.com/list/LVr3kX
    Here's the link.
    Specs are:
    Ryzen 5 3600
    MasterLiquid Lite 240 mil AIO
    ROG Strix B450-F
Silicon Power XPOWER Turbine RGB Ram @3600mhz CL18
    Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB
    EVGA GTX 1060 6GB
    Corsair 275R
    EVGA B5 550

I chose the 3600 because of the good performance, and it's $100 cheaper than the 5600. The AIO was cheap enough, from a good brand, and probably overkill. I love the look of the B450-F, so it got tossed in too. The ram is rgb and fast enough, although I wanted at least CL17. I already had the 500GB SSD and the 1060 laying around, so I decided to use them. The case is nice looking and on a good discount, so I'm pretty fixed on that. The PSU was at least branded and 80+ Bronze.

The only components that I bought so far are the case, and obviously the GPU and SSD. Any advice? I am working on a bit of a budget here, as my sister wants to pay for it with her own money.

I would be wary of water cooling. It's a real pain to set up with having to cut the tubes, make sure the seals are tight, make sure there's no air bubbles in the system, all with the risk of accidentally spilling the it all over your expensive electronics. All that effort and risk and at the end of the day it doesn't even really offer any real benefit over air cooling except in the most extreme systems - which this is not.

To be honest, with this set up a stock fan is likely all the cooling you need.

Okay, so after cutting the AIO, what do y'all think of the part choices? I haven't really worked at this end of the budget spectrum before (my main pc right now is around $10000)

How's this relevant? Isn't he using an AIO? He just needs to position the radiator correctly. That said, the cooling was probably overkill for your system.

I'd suggest a Noctua cooler. They aren't the prettiest things, but they're damn effective and superior to AIO in that there is 0% chance of springing a leak. My previous build sprang a leak at the 2 year mark and fried two hard drives. I'm grateful that that's all it did.

I'd second the noctua suggestion. They're honestly as good as or even better than AIO coolers in a lot of cases.

There are very few reasons to own a $10k PC. Even the most hardcore VR rig is going to be less than half that.

Wait, you don't pair two of the most expensive GPU on the market whenever possible?

Holy hell, I knew GPU price were though the roof but I never expected to see Nvidia's top gaming GPU go for A$3500 each.
