    So I tried to play Rome II today after half a year away. This is what I get when I boot it.

    I've updated my drivers but that's it. Anyone have any idea what the fuck is going on?

    Maybe one of the patches have screwed up when installing? God knows there have been enough of them that one could have been corrupted.

    I'd say do a complete reinstall. I've started playing again recently after a similar gap and didn't have any issues.

    The other option would be to scrawl through some of the support forums, if you haven't already. But I imagine trying to find a solution there would be a bit like a needle in a haystack.

    May as well wait for Attila: Total War and play that. ;)
