I agree about Vaimes. I haven't looked at Regfan's stuff too closely so far (only skimmed some of the longer posts made when I was at work) but it's not unusual for Reg to be overly insistent about his reads. I'll try to remember to take a look tomorrow.

I'm not smiling; Von & Cobalt are two of my stronger town reads inside the game and there's a group of people scum reading Von and a group of people scum reading Cobalt which is pretty irritating.

Yeah it was specifically the line where Vaimes asked Cobalt to interact with him that made me lean V on Vaimes. It's possible Vaimes was deflecting cobalt off axiom but my problems with that is it's too early to be making associative reads like that (I'm null on acid anyway) and that doesn't seem like wolf Vaimes style regardless. No thoughts on any of the other people you mentioned as of yet, I kinda wanna V read plotless' gif they posted but that's probably terrible and I'm not actually going to do that.

 

I wasn't trying to draw heat, I was just having fun. I was also serious about the Vaimes vote however. The fact that several people got defensive over it rather than just going "Vaimes is selfresolving" makes me want to tunnel it.

That I wasn't in fact trying to draw heat doesn't change the fact that it's a -EV for town!Vaimes to point it out if he really thought I was, because presumably I'd have had a reason for it. Town!Vaimes would have considered that.

The initial read on Vaimes was mostly general insincerety and faked content. He's trying and failing to be his townself.

Jarizok - Vaimes being "Selfresolving" doesn't mean that people shouldn't and don't attempt to get a read on him earlier on, and him stating that you're "intentionally drawing heat" isn't a scum-tell at all, there's not really a good reason to be making that play so him telling you to stop it is actually +EV. I disagree with him being insincere and "faking content" but eh, I don't feel as bad about your read there anymore.

Yes it's real. Each of those coming down from the tiered level have some form of interaction that pings me, with Jan having the most interactions so far. I'm not saying its a perfect wall but its where my head is at without going over every post in detail.

 

Huh, Zenzao, I was under the impression that was your scum up the top and town down the bottom (That's how you formatted your reads in MM), is that not the case here? If so then your reads are very very very different from mine.
