By making big analysis posts and providing a straightforward train of thought, while doing things like hopping on the Cobalt bus around the turning point? If "focusing on heavy town appearance and high levels of town content" isn't what townsiding is, then disregard.

Also reg I'd argue you've been TRYING to look good and have thread control and your behaviour earlier today makes a lot of sense as someone who's frustrated that this has stopped working.

Because I think I'd have done a very similar thing about Waco as mafia with the sole exception being that I wouldn't have got Vamies to reconsider once he'd already made it clear he was shooting Jarizok. Like that's closer to my scum play than anything elset his game? Whereas the way I handled yesterday, well isn't.

Not sure how being wrong like 70% of the time is townsiding no matter how big his posts are?

I would argue Reg had pretty good control over the thread until I came in and started calling for his head.

I'm aware that's a selfish argument, but w/e. Someone can correct me if they disagree.

b/c being town =/= being right. In fact I've been interpreting townsiding as meaning NOT looking correct a suspicious amount of the time.

I think this post looks a pretty good point against Fable-Blab? I think it's unlikely he attempts to clear both his partners based on the same thing "Zenzao pushed them with a big wall" and I kind of don't mind the post in general?

Townsiding is as mafia doing things that are against mafia's interests; defending town, pushing mafia.

I feel liek one of the bigger problems I'm having with seeing wolf!Reg is how the wolves have treated Reg/Pein this game. Waco started with a wolf read on her but Reg didn't go for it then really which I don't get what the plan was there in that case. Like waco wolf reads pein Reg goes nope at the time and then he busses waco and then goes okay "now I'll wolf read pein" that's kind of ??? if w/w. Then there's Zen who I don't think really bothered with it much? Cobalt yeah was pushing on pein pretty hard all game and tried to take her with him at the end but overall it feels like Reg has kinda been doing it by himself and the people who have been behind him on it have been villagers (jari/fonti) so if Reg actually wanted pein mislynched as a wolf I feel like he could have done it and it just seems super uncoordinated in regards to ther other wolves.

Now we're here where it was obviously dragged on way too long and she's spewed clear and yeah Reg does look bad from that so what was the plan exactly? Like I don't see what he was going for unless he genuinely believed his bad read.

Ah, okay, I am not really familiar with the term then.

What I was picking it up to mean was "focusing on appearing town ahead of collaborating with other scum". Which CAN involve what you're calling townsiding, but also encompasses other behaviours.

That's different from three names being mafia, all next to each other, in one separate group, you butt.

    ---------- Post automerged at 00:55 ---------- Previous post was at 00:52 ----------

But it's pretty whatever. I think it makes dC/Miner less likely to be aligned, you and Reg say it's dumb, which means it's pointless to argue over it since it's completely subjective. I'll settle for gloating post-game if I'm right.

Thought about pulling the "I have more experience with Cobalt so shut up???" card but that isn't likely to go over very well.

    ---------- Post automerged at 00:58 ---------- Previous post was at 00:55 ----------

And it's also like, without actually reading anything else ('cause apparently skimming walls means I read nothing and just post nonsense :V), I don't think Regfan/dC works just because Cobalt died pleading at the three of us to believe him, and does he really address two of his partners? Douuubt it.

    ---------- Post automerged at 01:00 ---------- Previous post was at 00:58 ----------

And there's a very fine line between "solving the game" and "talking in circles" for me, and I mean this in the least lazy/offensive way possible, but the amount of rehashing and consideration and endless talking in endgame overwhelms me very easily and I dislike it immensely and prefer to take my "little things" reads and run with them, despite being a hugely important part of the game, so uh. I apologize for that.

    ---------- Post automerged at 01:15 ---------- Previous post was at 01:00 ----------

    Wait, what am I doing.

    Unvote

    blab / dC
    blab / Miner
    blab / Reg
    dC / Miner
    dC / Reg
    Miner / Reg

Cobalt didn't put three teammates right next to each other in his reads, it's similar to most mafia teams being too nervous to vote with each other except that I believe scumteams don't coordinate-craft their readslists anywhere nearly as often and it's more on the fly > eliminate dC / Miner.

Cobalt didn't slip two partners into "VAIMES DC REG PLEASE LISTEN TO ME," not to mention the way Reg sort of slithered his vote onto dC looks too slimy to be a bus, and scum!Reg going from Miner to dC if dC is his partner would be ??? > eliminates dC / Reg.

    blab / dC
    blab / Miner
    blab / Reg
    Miner / Reg

So from my POV, lynching blab first is better because either he's a hit, or the scumteam is Miner/Reg. idk if Miner/Reg is impossible[/b], but I guess it says something that Reg swung hard at Miner and is now looking elsewhere.

("something something read my posts vaimes" look, you pushing for confscum Miner and then moving elsewhere is an accurate, if bare bones, assessment; the "why" isn't really important to me here because as either alignment you're going to make it sound convincing)

    ---------- Post automerged at 01:18 ---------- Previous post was at 01:15 ----------

god why do I keep doing [/b] tags

I'd argue the why is the most important part. I tried to keep it short in Post #3046 for you.

I think you're ruling out Miner/DC for silly reasons still? Shrug? I'll let you know where I want to lynch soonish hopefully, going to try and do some reading before heading to Origin tonight.

---------- Post automerged at 12:25 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:24 AM ----------

I think you can rule out Blab/Miner, like very confident you can.

Strong logic that says that's never the world and I'll take full blame if we lose to that.

Might also rule out dC/blab? Wow at this point I should think dC is just town, but the endgame atmosphere makes me doubt everything, whee.

It's both the placement of the flipped mafia + dC being among them, but I also have a hard time believing scum!blab doesn't assign a partner a "townread out of convenience" (hi Reg!).

    ---------- Post automerged at 01:26 ---------- Previous post was at 01:25 ----------

"Silly reasons" is literally my playstyle so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    ---------- Post automerged at 01:28 ---------- Previous post was at 01:26 ----------

Though your second reason for moving off Miner there could have been factored into your original case, and it wasn't?

Case wasn't typed during the day phase? I expected to be able to post that and interact with Fontisian about the actual reasoning I presented; she died? I stepped back and moved because that's what I'd have liked her to do for me?

    Hmmmm.

I'm still lynching Miner b/c I don't particularly believe in blab/Reg and Miner pretty much HAS to be scum in that case (it's him or, like, Fable :/)

Still think blab is probably town, although I guess if I'm wrong and we hit scum!blab today worst case is we lynch me tomorrow and MYLO has to pick out of Reg/Miner? That's still not great, though :/

    I dunno, man.

Taking font's word on Cobalt vs. Miner is uh. She can rage all she wants, she's not a guru.

    ---------- Post automerged at 01:39 ---------- Previous post was at 01:37 ----------

Plus, if you're scum, then it just looks like you'll have something "reasonable" to fall back on should we mislynch toDay, you can at least understand that that looks sus.

    ---------- Post automerged at 01:41 ---------- Previous post was at 01:39 ----------

    Enough with the self-lynching.

I eliminated most worlds that concern you, and if I'm right, lynching blab is the safest option. You can lynch Miner right after him, because one of those two has to be a hit unless we're getting steamrolled.

    ---------- Post automerged at 01:42 ---------- Previous post was at 01:41 ----------

But actually, dC, which WH were you scum in? I want to look at it again to check something specific.

She's not and I'm not clearing him; just more cautious with my read due it. I imagine the most irritating thing in this game is getting vigged and watching someone you town read get mslynched, if that was me there I'd say some not very nice things in the dead QT while it happened so I'm at least checking myself there and have tried to make sure I've not missed anything (similar in how I treated Cobalt/You when I thought it was Vira at the end of WH8). I don't care if you think it looks 'bad' or not. I just care that you can at least acknowledge that I'm trying here.

I did SAY that was a worst case. I'm actually NOT self-lynching in this case, just trying to make sure that the worst case of "I do get lynched" doesn't end in an automatic failure.

I still think Miner is just a hit in pretty much all worlds, but meh. Lynch: blab

And I think it was WH13? That was the one where I Loose Cannon'd on Acio D1, anyways. (Wait, I thought Fantasy Strike was dead...)
