Well for one I don't get how you have a problem with my cobalt interactions when we were reading him pretty similarly. Also I don't how you think my confidence on miner/dC is fake. Liek look at it from my PoV the players left were

We know pein and stanari are highly unlikely and I never really found anything in blab's ISO that pinged me so unless you have something you wanna admit I don't know why my certainty seems unreasonable because granted my V read on you has taken a hit the past few days just because even after all this your suspicion of me doesn't really feel real but I do agree with you that the wolf --> you interactions don't look terrible. I mean miner and you don't look the greatest together but that's really it.

 

but yeah so tl;dr Reg's been treating me all day as "someone he wants on side but still needs to mislynch". This plus trying to get Fable into lynch contention is, like, uber scummy. He ranted a lot about taking up the 1v1 but never ACTUALLY did because it would cause scum!Reg to lose, and thinking back I should have just insisted he do it because he STILL wouldn't have.

Again, though, I kinda fell for the AtE stuff with the "boo hoo if you're town you're throwing the game and I'm tempted to let you". For the second time. So I guess that's on me. Just don't repeat my mistake and lynch Reg tomorrow.

Like, seriously. If Reg was going to give up as a townie, it would have been long before now. The idea that he'd give up because I'm being a prat is laughable and was stated purely to try and make me back off a little.

 

Fable - The point I'm making with your Cobalt one is that I think your initial reaction to his first fake-claim didn't have any real consideration of whether it could be fake or not but when Vaimes pointed out an issue with it you from thereon out it felt like you changed to the "Buss hard" strategy. I don't think you gave his claim change any real consideration at all, plausible it's because you were that confident he was mafia before then and credit to you if that's the case but I think it feels like one of those 'knowing' type situations where scum show their hand a little too much. I also think Cobalt->You interactions when you were pushing him makes sense as a partner?

I think your read on Blab yesterday bounced around from "could be him", "isn't him", "might be him", "most certainly not him it's always DC/Miner" in an unnatural type fashion, I never saw you present any reasoning that made the last leap of completely ruling him out to be one that makes sense.

My position is somewhat different, in that...

Hmm, alright, this seems workable:
- No Lynch now
- Reg gets another day to sell his Fable case. People who aren't me should try and think about it, since people who are me are incompetent and in an awkward position to (and seriously I am not scumreading Fable)
- If no-one is buying by the end of the day, we settle on Reg/dC PoE
- If people ARE buying, we lynch me and then your final three decision is Reg/Fable. I might not think Fable is scum, but everyone else has their own autonomy and can make their own decisions.

I'm going to trust that whoever of pie/blab/Stanari is alive can make a reasonable assessment at that point. I will however note that I am pretty sure Reg is going for no lynch because he's fully aware that a day ending in my lynch NOW in the current situation is a guaranteed loss for him. As such, no lynch is the only play for him that isn't a short term loss.

Amusingly, that isn't a robotic reaction of mine.

Given I think we're in a situation where there's 2 lynches for 3 of DC/Fable/Myself (Don't think I'd allow anyone else to get lynched here realistically) no lynching today gives me more time to determine exactly which of those two it is and not have to be in a 4 way where the game comes down to a "Can I make myself even more transparent", no lynching tomorrow doesn't do that.

My current stance on Fable is...

- did some kind of townpingy things early on
- the interactions are a good argument for him not being scum
- I did find some of his early posts scumpingy but I think that's a tone thing

It's actually harder to find specific posts where I looked at them and said "that's town" than for...basically anyone else in this game, but that's more a function of my not focusing much on him.

Can you elaborate on the "Interactions point against him being mafia" section without using the word Zenzao in it because I actually think Miner/Cobalt/Waco either have things that point towards him being mafia or have nothing that really points against him being mafia. It's just the Zenzao<->Fable stuff which I'm doubting and if scum don't have daytalk I can see Fable genuinely bein annoyed and responding in that manner as a partner?
