Also can someone explain to me how fonti "saved" Q when it's more like he saved himself by calling out Zen on his bad post where he was inconsistent on jari?

Also, this may have been mentioned in previous games here but if it was I can't remember. Is there an easier way to ISO people that doesn't involve searching by author and having to view shortened posts in the search page? Cuz the worst thing about ISOing people for me here is the way it works and it's super demotivating and makes an ISO into a slog when you have to click every single post.

You still ISO as usual, but this'll show the full posts instead of the clipped dot dot dot nonsense.

    ---------- Post automerged at 10:54 ---------- Previous post was at 10:54 ----------

Don't think there's any way to use that script for mobile, though.

    ---------- Post automerged at 10:55 ---------- Previous post was at 10:54 ----------

Then again ISO'ing on mobile is probably something we all like to avoid anyways.

Vaimes; The only scum game where I've ever entered emotional manipulation territory was swagwars (which Reg linked), and I've expressed many, many, many, many, many, *many* times that I regretted the stuff I pulled in that game and feel that I won it very cheaply. Reg absolutely 100% knows this and the fact he's ignoring it is a disingenuous assessment of my play. PCB and badass women don't have emotional manipulation, full stop.

This is every scum game I've had, 2015+. This is gonna be a bunch of meta, so I'm putting it in a spoiler. I do not expect you to fact check all of this, but it's here if you need/want it.
The Burning - none. The "manipulation" I did largely surrounded Elbirn D3 and amounted to me WK'ing him against what felt like the entire game consensus scum reading him. This is a common theme with me-scum and is indicative of the type of manipulation I actually *do* when I'm scum - when I manipulate people I'm taking advantage of like a situation actually going on in the game to get them to view me favorably in a logical light. I don't just directly play on people's emotions.

OTGW - none. I mostly tailored my play to fit Nacho's idea of my meta, and from there played this almost entirely logically.

Mini 1674 - there was a really dramatic town/town shitfight between two players in the game, and you can say that stuff got a bit emotional here, but again I didn't actually play on their emotions; I simply took advantage of the situation by trying to diffuse it and trying to make myself look good. Again there was a lot of meta tailoring here, i.e. me pushing notscience because I knew he'd suspect scum-me wouldn't push him.

EOSD - none, this was entirely logical, I faked a few indignant reactions to posts but never any heavy emotion.

Badass Women - this game I just was really loud a lot and bullied through whatever lynches/defenses I wanted until the game reached endgame. Again, there's a complete lack of directly playing on people's emotions here and people who have meta'd this from other games on MS have even commented about how dry my "emotional" posts this game actually were; the way I was being really loud that game was intended to cover up that the points I was making were logically terrible and not genuine at all.

PCB - the extent of the "emotional manipulation" that I did this game was that I visibly displayed really strong empathy for Luna over the course of the game despite her copping flak from a large part of the player list for activity/transparency issues. Again, that isn't "emotional". I didn't directly play on her emotions, I took advantage of the consensus scum reads on her to endear myself to her in a way where she wouldn't question it (combined with a bunch of OOG meta shit that she town read me for bringing up in her favor - this is again, abusing meta).

HOTS - none. This game was again, just a shitton of meta tailoring (to the bork/Syryana circle) and then played entirely logically. This is, in fact, the last game I've played at all before this game (as any alignment), so yeah. It's up-to-date.

BONUS Tarot uPick II - this is the only other game where I did emotional shit, and it's largely a forgotten game because I replaced out. I was wagoned and consensus scum read D1, largely only got out of it via ~black magic~, but still if I weren't in a hydra this game you'd be able to see really, really easily how exhausted doing that made me until I got to the point where I simply just couldn't anymore and had to replace out of the game - that is indicative of the sort of mindset I get in when things *do* get emotional when I'm scum, it's simply really exhausting for me and I don't like doing it because I think it's a cheap way of winning as scum. After D1, I had like no posts for the rest of the game until I replaced out (D3) and just hid behind my hydra partner because I just couldn't build up enough energy to start playing the game and start doing all of the emotional shit again. The emotional stuff that I *did* do that game I wasn't even all that great at and no one town read me for it, I was just barely able to get by by doing it constantly so that people would continue to hesitate to lynch me.

Continuing this conversation further will likely just result in Reg spinning some alternate interpretation of all of these games and turning it into a "her word vs. my word" debate. But the fact that I've, in his own words, made him feel guilty for pushing me is enough to indicate that this game isn't in my scum range. Because that's simply just not an approach I do as scum with the singular exception of the swagwars game that I've expressed to literally anyone of my friends who I've discussed the game with, him included, that I don't ever want to do again in a game. As scum if people push me fuck making them feel bad over it, being correctly identified as scum when you're scum is normal, so I have no reason to get upset over it.

(That's even true for the swagwars game really. What happened in that game was that I broke down because someone was railroading me for really bad reasons and I couldn't fight it not because I couldn't counter his reasoning but because my RL situation was really shitty and I literally just could not invest enough time in the thread to keep up with all of the posts he was spamming the game with about it. And I thought it was a really cheap tactic on his part to essentially ram a lynch down my throat and rely not on actually making good arguments but just flooding the thread with hundreds of posts when I was in no position to do anything about it.)

Also take a look at this (town) game of mine Forest Fire.
In this game Reg - yes, that same Reg that's sitting over there - spent the majority of the game just death tunneling me. And you know what happened? Nacho spent a huge amount of effort D1 *specifically* talking to him and trying to tell him the EXACT SAME POINT I'm trying to make here - that I would not have ever made certain posts as scum in the game because I simply don't resort to emotional manipulation as scum. In the end he continued not to listen to Nacho and ended up continuing to misread me until near the very end of the game.

The assessment he claims he has of my play here just simply isn't something he holds, it isn't something it makes any sense for him to hold and it's completely counter to our actual history as players (both after seeing FF and all subsequent games). If you asked town-Reg what the strong points in my scum game are "she's good at emotional manipulation" is not something that would appear on his list, *ever*. He would tell you I'm good at playing to people's weaknesses and tailoring my meta, and that I'm really good at selecting kills, seeing several moves/phases ahead and that I'm good at writing very logical and town-sounding posts and maintaining positional control over the game (if you've actually read through the spoiler you can look at i.e. this Reg postgame comment from HOTS, my most recent scum game - this is indicative of the typical sort of assessment Reg gives my scum play). But he would never, ever, ever, *ever* point-blank say "she's really good at emotional manipulation and making people feel bad for pushing her as scum". Which is what he's trying to do here, basically.

But again, arguing too much about this will just lead to Reg turning it into a "her vs me" situation. The long and short of it is all of the evidence is there and the thing about FF in particular should give you the best idea of what his history with me and whether I'm emotionally manipulative as scum or not is *actually* like.

Vaimes an ordered list would be really nice. Why is pie so high? Is Jarizok your primary kill?

---------- Post automerged at 03:53 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:50 PM ----------

I can hammer this at anytime. I don't want to, because I think there's useful stuff to sort out re: fonti, miner, etc. I definitely think Regfan, Pie should stop interacting or making the case for one another. Neither of you is going to be killed, so you'll have a whole phase to sort out this shit.

How did font save herself there?

Font didn't even focus on that point, only bringing it up in passing. She saved me by arguing vehemently I was town and helping to dissipate that wagon.

I feel like that's not the reason your wagon stopped existing? At least that's not why I took my vote on you.

This and similar posts like this is why I think fonti is probably town. I don't think scum!fonti defends Quiddity as hard when the bottom of my poe (and I wasn't that far of the consensus, iirc) with town!Stanari was basically Kai/(Jari/Cobalt)/Quiddity/fontisian (+ waco if that conversation was pre-shot).

---------- Post automerged at 04:40 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:38 PM ----------

I also looked at Miner<->Jarizok and:
I can them being witches together from the Jarizok->Miner perspective, Jarizok has then Miner as his designated scummate-scumread and "tries" to lynch him in the knowledge he is unlikely to succeed. Might explain the denigration of Miner!townreads, too.

Otoh I find Miner's reactions to Jarizok pressure point to not W/W

    Anyone want to doublecheck me?

Overall I'm pretty much exactly where I was yesterDay:

    Vaimes
    Quiddity
    Fable

    dC
    fonti
    Regfan

    Miner
    Stanari
    pienyan

    Cobalt
    Kai
    Jarizok

I'm still of the opinion that Cobalt is unaligned with Jarizok, again, would welcome if someone looked at this.

    oh shit a touhou mafia

abandons this game to read it

(Actual thoughts: Miner's approach to Reg/pie mirrors my own but more concisely and better explained. So why does it make me paranoid that Miner is scum with one of them??? I'm seriously asking, I don't think this is a good assessment)

Explain to me how your interactions with pie there, with those emotional attacks and these long ass wallposts about meta and stuff, is at all helpful here.

    Everyone else,

Feel free to poke me with questions. I'll have an updated readslist out before EOD most likely, unless something goes horribly wrong tomorrow.

Do you even remotely care that you're getting lynched here? As either alignment?
