I'm looking for an old fic I read a couple years back. From what I remember Harry takes over the world and becomes an immortal emperor, humans then spread throughout the galaxy while Harry's descendants rule the empire.

It has sci-fi elements like for example an organization of all female bodyguards that protect the emperor, exactly like the one from Dune. The story also started off with the funeral of the current emperor and Harry was a general or something.

Oh and I remember it mentioning how the American president was the greatest obstacle to Harry taking over the world in a chess metaphor.

Any help would be appreciated.

I've done that. My "crap fic that I thought at the time was good but forgot until I did a public search and realized that it sucked horse pop from the flesh straw" moment was searching for Sins of the Father. Thankfully, I only made myself into a fool on the now-defunct fanfiction.net forum and not DLP.
