I'm looking for a fic where during third year, Harry accidentally discovers that magic only works because wizards believe it does. In that fic, Harry cured Lupin from his werewolf condition by using Lockhart's Homorphus Charm and it worked because Harry believed it would.

It was lulzy, so I'd like to read it again, but I just can't seem to find it.

 

Harry Potter and the Weasley Seer should be it.

 

Looking for a fic: Harry goes to Atlantis, and only Dr weir is there, it has some ancients coming back, Harry having a kid with one of them and becoming the de facto leader of Atlantis, any ideas?

No, It was Harry with just Weir, there was no one else from the magical world and it was set on Atlantis only, thanks for the help though.

 

Another guilty pleasure fic search for me.

Harry moves to France (Maybe?) and meets an OFC veela, who is related to veela royalty in some way (A niece I think.), they fall in love. The veela queen throws her full allure at him as a test, he passes but is pretty pissed about the whole thing. In the end he marries this OC, and as a throwaway line at the end, ends up with Hermione and maybe Luna as well? Oh, I think he also ended up buying Camelot or some other such nonsense, and he was the only one who didn't know what he bought.

Total guilty pleasure, just stuck in my head.

Edit: Can someone recommend a complete fic written pre-HBP? Mostly I'm looking for stories that ignore Horcruxes, they force the story down too narrow a path. (I've read everything that is in the library.)

Well there is Far too many time travelers but it's not finished(Looking at you Jeram) or Time warp but that's kinda abandoned.

 

Something along the lines of To Fight the Coming Darkness. Don't know what that type of fic is actually called. General? Epic?

 

So could anyone give me right after the war fics, without angst,canon,buttsex with draco, but something that's kinda fun(pls no angst) I don't even care if it as guilty pleasure fic.

Nvm, misread. There's Hogwarts Houses Divided for a good next generation fic.

 

Precisely what do you mean by without angst or canon? Do you mean without the Epilogue? And I find it...difficult to believe that any events immediately after the Battle of Hogwarts is going to be completely angst-free. I mean the characters are going to have to go to at least a dozen funerals.

 

Angst is always part of a story, I can accept that. What I can't accept is chapters after chapters of characters agonizing about the smallest things and starting crying and shit at the drop of the hat.

By canon I mean, no Albus Severus, propably no H/G pairing, and yes no epilogue.

What I want is some kind of humor, magic and action or just some kind of silliness,
